the question kid, should be directed at the party promoters, after all, they are the ones with the money.
The thing is that when the expences of a party rise (due to expensive foreign artists fees), the price for the party ppl rises also, and party goers love to bitch about party prices (ppl dont like to pay for trance parties, even when they get the top and most expensive artists), so do you think they will pay high price for a party with local djs they can see everywhere else? why pay 100-150 NIS to see a local dj, when you can see him playing week after for 50? but when bringing a foreign artist that you cannot catch every week, then ppl are more willing to pay this price (and even then they bitch...sorry, but check most of the party threads).

I wouldn't risk my life and come there because of 1000$.. you gotta remember that there's a war going on down there..
Well I bet for example juno reactor got a little bit more dough when he played here (helsinki) than sienis or texas faggott..
And Ozric Tentacles got more than hidria spacefolk

Read back this thread from start and you will understand, that non of the artist from abroad coming here to israel because of BIG MONEY its only because they like to come and play and heard from friends/artist that playing here is fun and you can see a reflection of this in the PARTY topic of this site.
and there is a much terrible war in NYC and still people taking the RISK and going there. |

i think boris and david are totally right...
im sure infected and all the rest of commercial and known stuff like them are getting good money for playing and thats cuzz they bring crowd - not my cup of tea but they bring it and they have 3-4 discs and bla bla bla...
so the israeli issue here doesnt relevant.
its how big the name and hoe many ppl will get to the party.
we here like stuff that is more underground but u forget that not everyone know who is lish artist in this kategories... |

if the israeli party oginizers are not promoting the israeli trance, then i dont have problem do it...

and that is only the start, Israeli artists are much better then foreign because....they are israeli!!! and no one has the energy we have.
you might wont be able to see it if you live in israel, but i prefer bringing israeli artists, because of the special energy they have.
