.....stazi ..i really do not know who told you to write all these....
i know only this 472 presale tickets ...and with the daily tickets and 2dayer tickets we sold 1093 tickets.
The video you see is 8 o clock in the morning with most of the people sleepin at that time ....
if you were there u could see that the beach is 590 metres and in front were only few of the people of all the beach...tthe fans.
make negative comments is the easiest thing...
we as the organizers know one thing we will do it again , somewhere else ...

Did you were there to confirm it by yourself?Or do you take for only example the very last live act of the festival, on monday at something like 7 AM, though many people had already left the festival to go back by plane or boat? I confirm what haris says. There is no point posting just for bashing, moreover when one doesn't know obviously about what one is talking about.

Stazi is not wrong with his estimation, I was there and I saw, the scenery was perfect, music was amazing, yet people were just a few. The estimation of 300-400 is very realistic unfortunately.
Asura, in much worse places, like Samothraki, with rocks and pebbles for a beach, dancing to a stage with fine dust, not sand for floor, that makes dancers choke to a dust cloud while dancing, there were more people than this. Even to talk about less than 1000 is disappointing. When in Samothraki, at the first event it 4000 people at least.
And this one is not going for the organizers who did their best, but for the people. Next time you appear in this forum blaming the organizers for few parties, few names and bad organizing, remember that you didn't show up at this festival and shut up. There were only a few people and I'm very sorry for the ones that keep on nagging but themselves don't support the scene. The ones who disappointed me this time, were my fellow trancers who did not appreciate the this event.
My mother was born on the island so I personally knew beforehand that the scenery was going to be good, there are only one or two beaches in Lemnos that are not good. I very well know that the reason that the island has no tourism is because some stupid people who did their military service in Lemnos and obviously, had a bad time, keep on saying that the island is a nasty place to be (sure, if you wear a uniform and have to do what a stupid officer says, even Goa would be nasty). What I did not expect is that, this would be a reason for the greeks to ignore the festival due to the bad reputation of the island. Too bad for you people; go pack yourselves in Mykonos or some other overcrowded island and consider this a relaxing holiday. That's what you deserve.
About the police: I asked some locals about their opinion, they were equally pissed off. An electrician, local friend of mine, was stopped by the police and asked that his whole car was emptied, along with his tools and caused him to appear at his work late. He said that the general opinion of the population of the island was that the police was the problem themselves, harassing both the party goers and the locals.
I'm very sorry that this festival is not going to be repeated in Lemnos. I just hope that the organizers made some money out of this, and did not had many problems. It's a pity that people didn't show up cos the music was right, the place was cool and the feeling was good. A big thank you to the people who made this happen, hope to see some more of your work in the future.           I'm glad mushrooms are illegal.Once I took, you know what happened?I laid in a field of green grass for 4 hours, going, 'My God, I love everything.' This is a hazard to our country, how are we going to sell weapons if we realize we are all one?" Bill Hicks

i spoke about the total people that passed from the fest not the 3dayers , campers ...anyway...
i know we are breakeven and happy for that, all artists paid , all is ok and we learned our lesson ,
If you are Just Clean and ok you will face PROBLEMS and thats all!
you cannot imagine the behind the scenes happenings with police force and the rest that happened that need a book...to write...
we are here ...and we are more focused than ever...

Respect for your great argumentation, LNE, but I am sure you understood that it was not the estimation of Stazi that upset me. It's the choice to take the fewest people moment in the festival to build his post. Ok subject closed now Let's go into another more interesting discussion

There was no argumentation here, just a complain to the people who want something more of the greek scene, yet themselves are prejudiced regarding new events. It's not going to happen for us if we do not support, that's for sure. Pointing out that it was just a few people didn't necessarily mean that you blame someone. When you review something it's natural to mention all your observations. Good and bad. And the absence of people was something to mention too. It's easy to blame the organizers; for once let's blame ourselves when we go wrong.
Much respect to the effort, I'm glad that everything turned out to be ok for you, islandofire. I bet that for such an isolated island everything was hard to plan because everything moves really slow. Thumbs up for anyone who made this happen, I'm sure next time you're going to have more support.           I'm glad mushrooms are illegal.Once I took, you know what happened?I laid in a field of green grass for 4 hours, going, 'My God, I love everything.' "When you review something it's natural to mention all your observations. Good and bad."
Of course. But as far as it is objective...

Can't understand the point of this debate, usually few people means better vibe, more feeling of a gathering, better service on the bars, no line at the bathroom, etc...

By the pictures and videos it was an awesome Festival, the place is beautiful and the deco valorized that.

Also the organizers break even... What else do you want?!?

Please do one of these near my country or next time send me air plane tickets!!!
Respect!           .

A kindly request to Island of Fire guys (Harris etc...) to invite Abakus during coming fall or winter to play for us a dance live similar with the one in the festival! Awesome live set! In my opinion, my best after Kox Box's, Tristan's and Hallucinogen's live sets in first Samothraki (Sola Luna - 2001)!
