ok, you are right guys

but pleasy try this method though

take stereo bass and stereo kick pan them 0.5% each. send on new bus and make that bus mono. maybe just bullshit. maybe some black magic ? cheers

What effect do *you* hear with this? Is it exactly the same if you don't pan the stereo kick and bass before you make them mono?           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

well maybe its placebo.
i philosophised with a friend bout this he also stucked in a paradox with this...

it feels like ... kind of void space between the kick n bass steps aside...

some time ago, we find out that 2 maxx bass plugins on kickbass bus (basic preset) will do also a kind of these "in each other glueing" thing... (maybe not a profund tech but check for yourself) cheers

two max bass plug-ins? presumably it would create a lot of harmonics, quite possibly creating a big mess along the way, no?

and the trick of panning kick and bass, then grouping them and setting things to mono, how's it any different from mono to begin with? can't see any effect on this at all, or have I missed something? cheers
