Hello,

I quite like this like of increasing and increasing arpeggio, it has a very nice effect applied to it. Is it an FM filter or something else? Could you share some insight on how this effect is created? (ex. waveform used, distorsion?, type of slope, etc.)

At 15:16, for 5 seconds

Thanks!

Thanks for that (this melody's actually spreading for at least a minute in the tune).           -Goa Travellers

could be syncro , filter with resonance and in tune with keytracking can lead to similar stuff too , some fx you can probably get closer more similar sound too , flanger with good amount of feedback maybe
i love these kind of sound these have become my fav , this kind of "effect" is possible out of many way.

for syncro, you modulate the pitch of the synced osc with lfo or modwheel for example, work best with square, sometimes pwm is nice on top

Wow!! Pretty close, very very good! I was trying to replicate it in Waldorf Largo, from the "Sync different" preset, but I'm far from that!!           -Goa Travellers

it was to check if it s that kind of sound you looking for

my largo crash right now i installed last beta and can t find previous version long time i haven t used it, i don't remember if you need 2 osc for syncro or just one.. if u need 2 the "slave" should be pitched higher than the first one and / or pitch modulated in the higher direction

love these sound in the intro..wonder if it s syncro or based on resonant filter or other stuff, many technics can get similar depending the synths.. sync : every time
Oscillator A’s waveform goes through a
positive transition (once every periodic cycle), it will force Oscillator B to start regenerating its waveform shape. This then will cause Oscillator B to start introducing new harmonics in each of its
waveforms. In order to really hear this sync effect, however, you will want to make sure the frequency
of Oscillator B is always higher than that set for Oscillator A

put osc b pitch on modwheel..you can make lot of these sound easy and then maybe add more modulation / tricks

you can do some with most plug i guess, highs might be agressive/digital caractere, depends for what you go for. i should do some test to recommend you one in particular but i usually go for the first synth i m in the mood to program at the time for that kind of sound, could be ace ,diva, cypher, bazille, massive ... i even did some decent one in the bitwig synth..so anything can give good result, just depend the caractere you go for..is if you want smooth organic you may have a harder time
