but the gigs in Nepal prove me wrong and it is sad... I for one am doing my bit (even though I love Nepal) I"ll never ever go to a gig there... and I will not support any artists (and this says a lot as I"m one of the few who never download illegal music and only buy original cd's).

u just dont wanna goto nepal for a party or u dont goto parties anywhere at all?           www.vantaravichitra.com

theres no problem so why do we need a solution.
nature has always burnt and will continue...the center of the earth is nothing hot molten lava just like the sun...so eventually everything will burn...we protect things because we feel we can control them...really speaking we control nothing...politicians, religious leaders etc want us to go on a guilt trip and feel sad about death and destruction...well theres nothing to feel bad or sad...shit happens all the time...if eat too much you will have to dispose it off. why take the burden of the world's guilt on your shoulder...let those who feel guilty deal with it...i dont care...not because i dont want...but because i choose too.           When death comes to your doorstep, make sure you are alive

well... this question is about how to prevent human's dramatic effect on surrounding environment... but we all know that trance parties is far not only way of polution and nature destruiction... more then this people are apparently ready to destroy each other in a numerous types of confrontations. so do we need to take care of nature? yes, we need, but first we need to know more about what is nature? who are we ourselves and what we shall to do in this world...]

and here we go: http://www.kabbalah.info/ (they claim to highlight all these questions)

"and here we go: http://www.kabbalah.info/ (they claim to highlight all these questions) "

Yea, but they are hypocritical wankers who don't give rats ass about the environment.

An open air club is not a bad solution.

"Is the pursuit of new party locations destroying our planet ?"

When you can pick up trash at a nature party without getting spat on by other partygoers, then we will be able to start saying 'no' to this question.

A lot of talk, but I bet most of you don't pick up your own trashes once the party is over. Especially smokers, what do you do with those cigarette butts? Yeah.. I just quit smoking so now I can play a saint.

In the end of course it's the party organizer who should take care of leaving the area the way it was or cleaner, but IMO everyone should take part in cleaning up their own crap. Konemetsä festival.. it was full of hippies and once the party was over the place looked like a dump site. Sure the organizer probably cleaned it up afterwards but still..

The question is not how your attitude in a determinate site (nature) can be positive and carefull to the determinate site, but how your presence can be, no matter what, negative by itself. I hope people understand that actually we "really" need to leave some (actually a lot) places free from our presence. And the reasons are not purely "ecological"....nor even in more scientifical approach. Its necessary to give time and space to certain realities that we dont understand or even recognize as of today. The absence of human culture (im more refering to the non-symbiosis cultures) in parts of the planet is essential for the planet, for us, for the things we dont yet understand, dont recognize....Mankind (as whole) grew to be a powerful agent of a rapid change wherever it thrives. These sites are the proof we have been travelling to fast and to blind.
I heard there is going to be a party in the Altay Mountains (Russia) by time of the Solar Eclipse....i know i bear to right to demand anything from you but i humbly ask, dont do it, dont go...this is one of the places in the world were we cannot play a positive role by simply being there....

Mother nature is the most powerful force on earth. And its the same mother earth who tell us "" listen.. i give u this space. You do watever u want to do. You smoke, you s**t, you clean... do anything. But the end of the day dont cross ur limit.. coz if u do then ur done".
As far as goin back to the topic.... it has its pros and cons. But if one knows his/hers limits ... then the pursuit isnt after all a bad idea.

And wat doughcherry said..... 100% true. But that doesnt mean u just trash without no reason. With a little civic sense.. we could make earth a better place to live in.           www.braindrop.in

In Canada it is standard practise for organizers to hand out film canisters at the gate for this exact purpose. The "Leave No Trace" ideology has become quite widespread here. We've even had some sound stages powered by solar energy in past years! I think all it takes is some activism to get things moving in the right direction.

i think that one time i felt like we ruin the nature with the party , to enjoy ourselves with the place energy...
but after a while of being on the location and connect with the tree's they told me that its realy good for them for a change and after hundred of years its ok and that they love the music
(who said acid lol)

What abut the birds and nature mammals that live there?

Thousands stomping on the ground, pissing on trees, destroying the scent a deer or a wolf has made. For months after, the smell of you evil humans is left in nature!!!

Shame on you people for destroying nature with your boom boom music and litter dropping nature

Very shanti of you. Piss on a tree and think of Buddha and look at the lights but be so far removed from nature at the same time

You make me sick
