Is the NY scene really growing?

The NYC trance scene expands and contracts like its stock market. Over time new faces. Over time, familar faces become elusive.
The best part is that we're going to have to some kick-ass outdoor festivals on the eastern US this summer. This is growing and it's very exciting!

After the hux flux/neuromotor party, I can feel it....something special is about to happen with our NYC scene.

I had not been to a party for several years. I was surpsrised at how few familiar faces I saw this past Friday. |

The only thing I would change in N.Y. parties is that they had that nature outside touch from outdoor parties that are 24hrs! ... but the vibes of the people are the ones that are really making a good psy-scene in N.Y. lets hope those vibes keep together and in peace!

i was very happy to get a chance to play at the omnitribe party in january.
i think nyc took a serious blow when sadhus quit throwing parties....
good to see so many liveacts and crew working together.
and im glad youall finally got devotee to start decorating up there...
now if we could only get that helicopter fixed, the 12 hr drive from asheville is gonna fuckn kill me.

That last ecliptic party was profound.
I was at Saddhus for Vibrasphere a couple years ago and it was SOOO amazing. Then they closed and NYC seemed to be a void of pystrance. Now, after two years, all the energy I felt at Synthetic Saddhus seems to have spread out. Everyone is doing such great things: Spectra, Ecliptic, even Tsunami. The Alien Project party in October was great. Arc is one of my least favorite venues, and the last Tsunami parties weren't the best (astral projection and, uhmmmm, Dj Suzuki?)...
But I'm totally psyched about Talamasca tonite, about seeing all the good people, about dancing till the morning. Keep spreading the good vibes...
