its quite funny,that so many people seem to say that dancing is the way you like psy,or you show you like psy......if you dance like a mad man to music it does not make you the most hardcore....i think it will make you a dancer rather than a trancer...........we all like to jam hard,but its no competition.......
back to the topic,i feel psy has made me like other kind of music also.......it just gives you a musical head........its a diffrent thing that im sometimes looking for buildups in beetles....but thats okay...... |

I can enjoy all sorts of music (although i prefer trance)but whatever the style is (apart from pop,rap etc..) it has to be of good quality.The last trance festival I 've been to I only managed to dance with 4 artists in 5 days.
Apart from trance I love listening to ambient - ethnic - dub/reggae - classical - jazz etc...
A couple of years ago i heard a dj from Detroit us named Mike Grant playing a mixture of house - detroit minimal techno and psy sounds....phewwww!he was excellent. |

It's pretty sad if some of you guys can't enjoy other music besides psychedelic trance.

Albioni
Bach
Just to name a few very very talented musicians.. Okay so yeah in the end it's up to personal taste, but the whole concept of music is so broad, there's a hell of a lot to enjoy. You're missing a lot..

I love so many different kinds of music.
Pink Floyd
Beatles
Nirvana
Pearl Jam
Looooooads of alternative stuff, metal even, drum and bass, electro, deep house, anything thats good really. i think its sad too if you can only enjoy 1 kind of music. i enjoy being a multi-faceted person. appreciate everything. except full-on. |

Definitely the same for me, and it's very annoying when you get to a party with "standard" music (Pop, Club Dance...) and you can't feel the vibe others are experiencing. They are like : "hey man, don't you like to freak out ??" "Oh yes I do, but Psy Trance is the only thing that move me, sorry...". Exceptions for some Latinos music (salsa, passo from time to time).
Musically speaking, as Traveller said, I'm much more "open", especially to classical and Jazz.
