well olli you took what i said a little in the wrong way.
first, as raver girl said, i don't think that clubbery dressing (i.e high heels, or high priced clubber stuff) fits in trance parties for differant reasons, main reason: not comfortable for digging and if you don't come prepared for that, well then, i think it right off says that you didn't really know what you were coming for.
second, when i wrote that about the people who weren't "kshurim" i didn't mean they looked not "kshurim" because of the way they dressed, but the way they acted (example: two girls sitting and talking about hitting on someone cause he seemed like he knows about parties, what the f**k is that? is it the new IN thing?) i for one hate it terribly when people come to parties just because it's IN, it makes the producers more greedy, it makes the parties much more crowded and with almost no chance of being hush hush, hence more police trouble.
i like my parties with karahana people, who make me smile just by looking at them having fun digging, smoking or whatever (and yeah, seeing people dress for a party is something you can catch right away, colorful or not, mainly, it's comfortable clothes, and color sure helps). seeing people just sit there occupying space (as harsh as it sounds) just so they'll look cool, really infuriates me.
that's my defending myself (or not) to you olli, all in all, i must say that lately i didn't really like parties with all the commercialism that went in them. i long for smaller, more trance-core parties.           Super-teen extraordinaire Freakazoid! Freakazoid!

My 2 cents:
In trance parties it is very important to me, what people are wearing on their face. From the parties I've been to, I don't have any fashion memories but a lot of FACES memories. I just realized this when I thought about adding a post for this thread. I have some faces stories. Here is one:
In a pary in Israel, not far from zichron, one of the girls, that always dresses up very colorfull etc, discovered, at 6 AM, that she left her car keys inside the car. Her colorfull cloths obviously did not help, cause she made all our gang very woried. I don't have to tell you, that in a nature party, at 6 AM in the morning (from my user name you can guess what I like to do in parties) worying about something is the last thing you wanna do. Anyway, all my colorfull gang, put their "long faces" on. Apparently, pur faces disturbed one guy. This guy was the "classic" shimon. About 30 years old, weight: 130 kg, with a black T-Shirt of size "small". This guy came to us, and had such a relaxing smile, that immediatly all of us relaxed. I will never forget his face then. He asked us what is wrong, called 2 more shimon friends of his, and in 2 seconds they broke into the car and released the keys.

I tell ya, faces are important.

I dress comfortable- so I can dance easily. Colorful is also nice- so people will have interesting blurs in front of their eyes when I'm dancing

people!
come as u r... dress just i fu want to and how u want to...
i preffer something comfortable for digging, and something that will chill me.
do whatever u want, beside that i dont think appearence is too important for a party, altough it adds style, color and lights the party sometimes.           I want you to understand that this man at the wheel is my attorney. He's not just some dingbat I found on the strip, man. He's a foreigner. I think he's probably Samoan. But that doesn't matter, though, does it? Are you prejudiced?

I dont think there is a dress code for trance parties. I think its as long as your coming to listen to the music. I mean i wear baggy clothes to parties, so other people might think i dress like a candy raver but I am nothing clothes to that culture.
I say anything that is comfortable.
But I do like to see them Killer, " I am almost wearing nothning" clothes of girls!!!!!

well LostBrainCell thats a great trancetale )
and that i think is thread waiting to happen
anyways i personaly realy try not to judge ppl for something so unrelated like clothing but as some said here "what face are they wearing"?
i personaly enjoy wearing colourfull cloth cause i think that the cloth that you wear can at times effect your mode and that all free happey smiling like mad mood is what i look for in partys
