imo pay-pal works fine enough.

And I'd go for mid quality instead of low, cos if I wanted anything but originals I'd go for mp3 anyway, wouldn't I?

thats a cool idea man .... that way u could even sign cds and write messeges on it which will really be fun to buy and show around .... these stuff usually motivate people to buy originals especially if its from the artist direct .....

just a thought....to get thru all these hassles of replacements (if the cd is bad) etc, why can't u offer cheap downloads of high quality mp3s?

say -- 1 Euro for a track
-- a discount for the entire album

and if i pay for it, you can be rest assured that i won't spread them around (and even if i wanted to do that, i could always rip the cd around and spread it). so you won't loose anything

long time no speak,
if i look at your deal business wise, im thinkin your gonna be investing some money.
Making your cd if its gonna be an original cd, its gonna cost you some money, unless you print about 500 in the intial print(which is still expensive compared to 1000 or 2000).
But then again if its a burned cd, that your sending out, i doubt the consumer is gonna feel the specialty in the cd.
kind of hard, but if you get the right deals, im sure it will be a good business. Also the consumer will have a better feeling talking directly to the artist.
GOOD LUCK!

hey there and thanx for the replys!

yeas Hikari long time no speakerbox...
Hope you are doing well..

You are so right, how would you guys react if it was CD-R's i sold but cheaper than the prices i wrote before but still good qulity CD-R's, cause i might find a place to buy disc's similar to the one thet use for pressing or mass production. Hikari is very riht when he writes that productions of pressed discs is going to be expensive.

Still with good CD-R's you can do good printing on them @ home and also the sleeve and things if you know how to design them.

The replacement deal is there to backup if you get your CD-R from me and it gets scratched when you play or whatever as long as i get the original back. So with this it doesnt matter really if the pressed ones that comes from factorys are better in tolerating abuse from the user...hope you get my drift...

what would be preffered, high quality snippets or mid quality full length tracks for prelistening before buying?

Cause sometimes it's just the very good part thats picked out for the snippets but with full lenght you can get the feel of the full track.

Keep em' coming, cause you can help me make this a good service.

And HIKARI drop me a mail and i'll give you my MSN User name.

its your music dude...u should know what u think are the stronger parts of your track and not snipp them out...i would prefer to hear the track in high quality with snipps...or do as some people do put a version that has a sample "saying this is a demo"
or "copy this and DIE" stuff like that.
cheers,good luck.           "....or is it???"

LOL, true COPY THIS AND DIE, having that whipsering in the background of the snippet as a subliminal message would make any one stoned a bit paranoid.

Oki, then maybe snippets it is but lets see what other ppl think.

What do you think of the CD-R solution??

Cheers.           For the TT beliver: www.techtrance.2tunes.com
