i can understand if they move on 2 rock % metal becouse its very similar with psy ..
but rap & pop ?!?! i mean common its crap !!
what da f ???
its humiliated 4 them 2 do that ! it so shallow 2 move from such an enlightened music like trance in2 such poor music like rap and pop ...
i do not think that its ugly music but it is a lame z'aner of music compare 2 trance ..
and about the guy that say "psy-pop" in joke ... its not a joke !!
there is like this i do not remember tho ...
i heard one like this of infected and a few of "texas faggot" |

Oh really...
What if they did rap & pop using a diferent act name? You wouldn't noticed, you wouldn't care.. you would still listen to IM's trance...
Many producers do this because they fear the judgement of people like you. Personally i couldn't care less... good music will always be good music. No matter what style. |

I love metal... i think they will make horrible sounding metal... leave the metal to the metalheads, they won't make it as good as Darkthrone, Erez and Duvdev seem too positive, it could never be evil enough...
also, I like some hip-hop... I think they will make mediocre hip-hop... I think this because the hip hop hybrid tracks on Converting... were terrible. Very bad mc work and just not very good at all... Maybe if they could get a good mc to work with them it could happen, I doubt they get a good mc though...

Sure they can do what ever they want.. It's a free world after all...
But for me, 'genuine' music have to see with an according way of life... According to the values of the scene (whatever they are...), its origin, its history, etc...
I mean, if you live with punks having a punk life, hanging around squatt and punk gigs, maybe you can make good punk music...
If you're somehow part of the hip-hop scene, growing-up in a neibourghthood where hip-hop is strong, maybe you can make good hip-hop (though I don't really like the values behind (most) of this music...), etc...
Good reggae have to see with Rastafarian value... If not, it's just mock imo...
Of course, if you have no talent you will make crap. That for sure...
But if you just decide out of the blue "Now i will do this kind of music...", I'm not sure you can do it properly...
It's like someone who never been to a party and don't know the psytrance scene at all... I don't think he can really make good psytrance... The one that really make people raving at party...
Just MTV music is easier, you just have to want fame and the way of life is just about making and spending money. Good music is the one which sell a lot and that about it...
Still IM are really good musicians so maybe they will show me I'm wrong... At least about them...
After all, I don't even know where they grow up and where they like to hang around when they are not touring psytrance festivals .........
Time will tell......

i don't think they'll ever become too commercial with a band name like "infected mushroom"..
maybe if they change their name to dj i.zen & duvdev the rapper or smth!

dint like their album cities of the future...coz i tht it was too commercial...
god knows how it will be when they get even more commercial...
it aint gonna make me hate them jes will make me stop listenin to their new tracks...
their old tracks still RULE.. |

Well, i know most people love TG and CM the most. And i can honestly say that The Misted Muppets are doing a great job keeping that music style alive. Their not faking IM, their just inspired by them i guess (?). I must say that they are doing one hell of a job
