Infected Mushroom next steps.....

hai
just heard infected mushroom interview on the beatnik trance show (israeli radio) from the 2/10.
and the radio guy asked infected what are the next steps.. so... they said that they made 2 tracks ("Ein Ketz la Yaldot" & "Nitzotzot") with rami fortis and they remixed 2 tracks (from CV) with mayomana (israeli top drummers), and their next album will NOT be a trance album, it will be a heavy metal and rock stuff, so i assume that there'll be singing too, and they also said that they might make some hip hop - rap, i dont know if they ment on the next album or totally..
they also said that Erez Netz some guitarist.. will join the infected crow soon - i guess that he'll be used for the next metal - rock album..
anyway, i think that infected will lose all their fans if it will really happen.
so say good bye to the old old infected, also to the new old infected, and say hello to the new new infected, the rock/metal band 
btw, the radio guy asked infected from where they get inspired so erez said - dream theatre, radio... and guess what...? M T V, exacly.

Don't see any problem . IM sound like finger sucking artists , they have all talent , creativity , musical sence but create too much psychedelic trance . So they do not have many ideas now . Move to rock , hip hop or even polka would be better for their insperation i think . I said goodbye to IM after i heard B.P.Empire .
Wish them both luck in new music they have everything to achive results in it . |

You see my friend, when you love music, a unique style just isn't enough. Musicians need to explore other things and be guided by what their soul wants to produce...
This is often associated with an attempt to make money.. thats why lots of artists use another name for other styles..
I respect IM alot for their creativity and musical feel. Maybe its for the money, maybe its for the soul... The infected fans just have to concentrate on the sounds they like... if you dont like the others just dont listen to'em and respect it.

i'll will always love IM, even if they'll quit doing
music i'll accept that, just updating everybody
on their next steps
i aint hearing them alot since the new stuff anyway..

am I the only one who saw this coming after the third album, it's pretty obvious they want to make pop music for mtv now...I think the less we talk about IM the better...it's offtopic here now

I love Infected, no doubt about it. I love psytrance, no doubt about it. And i love rock, nodoubt about it.
But will this be a good evolution? I dont know. http://www.trance.net <--- I also predicted the MTV thingy.

And they say you Trance heads are supposed to be open-minded...
Maybe you should wait to listen to their new production before judging it ?
I'll stop listening to them the day they make crappy music, nevermind the "style". The time is not yet ASAIC.

yeah...lets like what we got of them! their music style is deep and enigmatic! if they wanna change, who are we to stop them,or even intefere for that matter!just coz they change their music style doesnt mean we gotta stop listning to them completlely.
appreciate what they have done in the past.

Well i also imagined that they move to another way! Good luck to them! May they have as much money as they are wishing for...I respect the old stuff and as for the new stuff do not listen if you do not like just like me!

I have no problem with their "evolution" as long as Erez and Duvdev make their music with the same attitude as before. But I will be very disappointed if they would start making *bling bling* hip-hop with 50cent or whatever. |
