i had gone for the boom fest in 2006.. ws a blasterr
for flights try -
turkish and
any flights going frm india to london and then london to lisbon, check easyjet, ryanair, flymonarch. but u might have to get a uk visa for tht.book ur tickets early to get real cheap budget airline tickets.
when u arrive in lisbon, u cud either take the boom bus or if ur taking the train from lisbon, then buy a ticket for castello branco, which may cost some 16-19 euros i think.when u arrive in castello brnco its about 1/2hr -45 min ride to boom. u cud take a taxi frm the station, try bargaining with those drivers, and u cud pool in with others too.. most ppl on tht station r going to boom..so easy
try reaching the fest on the 1st day itself to find a good spot for ur tent, there r going to be tons of ppl waiting in queue to get in n find the spot for the rest of the week.
carry loads of suncreen, its going to be hottt!! and pleasant at night.

Finally, I can make it to boom festival... I just need to know if u guys are planning please count me too. As we can travel together. I have UK visa to transit. Should not be a problem. Also, for Schengen visa I will apply. Guys please pm me.

Whats even funnier, and im sure dharma walker will agree, is that after the last boom, on the india section of isratrance there claimed to be a good number of people here who were at the festival... now the funny thing is by the 7th day, i had met all the indians there, or at least between dharma myself we had seen most.. i dont think there were more than 15 people FROM INDIA not saying indians,.. and only few of them used isratrance... lol
Hope many more people make it, this year seems like its going to be even more awesome, and im sure there will be more people going.. i know of 4 confirmed people going from mumbai, and many chaporians (dont know if they count as indians hehehe).
