Same here... In my opinion at a Progressive party must be played progressive music...
It becomes really confusing when after whole night and a bit of the morning the BPM rises and Full on formulas start bombing the place.
For me those points are a big dissapointment, sometimes it makes me leave the party at the most important moments of the event and it doesn't matter which star is going to play after this act.
Don't get me wrong. I love drivin music, but believe me (for those whom progressive beats sounds borning) There are ENOUGH progressive driving acts that spin the dancefloor even hardly than lots of full on ones do.
But the real reason for this full on act at the party in my opinion is to "buy" extra (full on) crowd who is ready to suffer all this Progressive just for listening to this act.

What's wrong with some diversity in the line up? i don't recall that Underground or Yoda have ever announced themselves as a "strictly progressive production" and they always had a psy/full-on act playing in their parties. imo, the perfect flow can be created only by mixing different styles together.

Im doing partys for four years, every time I chose the dj's for my lineup i never thought about "buy" extra full-on crowds or shit like this... I always thought about "Party Energies", "Vibe" And "How to put smile on my lovley crowd's faces" I guess I succeed, if not I always open for ppl's complaints...
What i want to say here is that every party producer owns his "I Believe" and has a vision of "How party should be" and the crowd who's comming must respect it because this is the production will, nobody is forcing nobody...
IMO !

the original line up was
Astronivo12-3
osho vs Kaleidoscope 3-5
BBE 5-7
Sun control species- 7-8:30
Flyby 8:30-10:30
PS vs Avishay 10:30-??
if you look carfully, you can see that the opening act and the closing act got cancelled.(for the morning act Flyby was planned all along, so plz do your home-work before you post false info about the PLANNED line up)
and btw...
few years ago we used to call it trance parties, not prog parties or full-on parties.
what is so amuzing here, is that most of my friends and crowd including me, prefer listen to a full-on set in the morning time.
only in a prog oriented forum like isratrance 10 prog freaks making the impression of houndreds voice by writing multiple massages about their musical taste in every chance they get.
now i do belive driving prog tunes insted this fullon act in the morning can work just fine, maybe if we had more than 3 prog-on artists in Israel, it would have been much easier task...

i think this disscation is verry importent!!
but as asi said it perfectlly, we (as ppl who started going to trance parties for almost 10 years) we use to call it "trance \ acid parties" with no more sub-geder..
meyibe 10 years from now, one will say, i'm not going to this party.. yak, it's progassive-sub-new wave-psy electro..

i'm one of the ppl who prefer digging to full on in the morning, and if i may add- having some dark in a party would not kill any1...when i go to a party i expect the music to b varied and interesting and not to stay on the same style and the same bpm range for hours.
and if anybody forgot- that was a gr8 party after all!!!
