About the comparison of the remix of Antix to the original... I really think that its rather uncomparable, since Antix track is a groove 130 bpm deep and hypnotic trance, while my remix is 140 bpm proggy chubby dancefloor oriented track. It is like comparing jazz and rock - both are good

hey yuli
that 's what i was saying .. your version is more emotionnal while the original is deeper and more hypnotic(just my vision of course)
2 differents tracks in the end , each one with its own style |

hi alex,
my sincere apologies. i didn't mean to take your opinion personally and of course (!) everyone is free to their own taste. i was just pointing out something i saw as ironic and a little funny to me, but i guess it came across wrong. it wasn't a dig at you at all. (BTW i also like candyflip for the harder night stuff and plusquam too for the minimal groove.)
and of course yuli is also right: the two "free as you are" versions are different genres completely, so you can't really compare the two, other than saying both are great!
p.s. happy to hear zombi is coming back to trance a bit. i am too after a break |

hehe the misunderstandings between proggy type of ppl are so non aggressive... i think this thread should come as an example of how not to try to pick a fight in the blue forum of Isratrance...

Sativa-circular structure. Surpise surpise, another psychdelic bomb from steve good, aka double dragon. The groove is there, and the mind tricks/audio games are also there aplenty! Check out the radio interview that runs in the background throughout most of the track. bonus points to whoever correctly guesses first which asshole is being interviewed!

Hay Russ, nice review. BTW, I know which asshole it is....what do I win ? ? ? ? |

I agree with Alex.

The Sativa track is MASSIVE !!!
the lady next doors is banging the walls because of this PHAT groovy sound. that`S how much HAVOC this track creates. Hope to hear more stuff from these guys. fuckn awesome !!!
bout the rest, the first track from freq really stands out. Overall a great album from iboga. one of the best from them to this date. |

Haven't bought a trance album in god knows how long. I've just had no interest whatsoever. The reviews here told me that it's probably now or never. What can I say, I was not disappointed. This CD has been rocking my stereo since the second I got it. I like all the tracks, they are all special in their own way. Now my only problem is that I need to buy more

Great compilation. FREq delivers some booming stuff as always. Frogacult is there for the kinda relaxing proggy outlet. Overall, very good and there's thought in this tracklist. The songs seem to follow logically. Oh yes, the Jaia track was released before on Flying Rhino. It was on the Something for the weekend compilation, which was a really good compilation, one of FR's best. It fits real well here though. Jaia was supposed to release an album under the Iboga label, does anyone know more about that?
