pks bro..quality relaxation is a good compilation without mix in it.. the important thing is that the tracks complement each other and flow..i agree to your view that you prefer all traks from start to end..i love it also provided the next trak complements it accurate..accuracy is most imp to me as a chill collector..if the compilation does not have perfect trak selections and flow its not for my collection
so all compilers put in your 2 pence of knowledge of music and creative vision and yes mixing knowledge is the key to compiiling good cd ..whether u actually mix traks or not imo

va twelve on tip..never asked myself whether its mixed or not..play it all the time djin or listening..imo wack cd..like this
