Well to start with an introduction i found myself today by almost forgetting my own musical roots... I went thru my "box of cds whos not that intresting anymore" and for god sake i had almost forgot about myself as a gabber hardcoring little kid! For me this music was the gateway into the Goa, we should all take an hour once and a while to go back, feel the vibe and start smiling (as i do know, listening to 3 Steps Ahead - Drop It Original Mix) And i can see my self stomping to it like i did in 1995... We forget to easy from where we all are, nobody can say we are pure blood trance people, there is none yet... We are the first generation  no matter how old u are, as long as we all remember the good old days we might remember the good new days and forget about the Psy Vs Proggressive matters and just start having fun whatever whenever.... Then in 10-15 years u could say with pride, I helped the trance to become what it is today  The Psychedelic Progg Ambience Techno Trance generation was US! To be able too say this u must stop with the trading, its a deciese who will kill our scene if we do not act from now on... Labels are dying (Rhino & Mdma RIP), artists are choosing other musical ways to earn what they rightfully deserve... Is that what u want? A scene like this cant live on promotion like other musical scenes can, we need to unite and stop the illegal buisness whos happening right in our laps and behind our backs... wherever u look u might see a trader... This is not the way a beutyful scene like ours should be treated dont u think? I think we should atleast try in a small scale, lets say here at this wonderful Forum, we should present a 0-Tolerance to traders here... This forum is supporting trance and it essences this forum was not created to be a meetingspot for traders.. We need to act! And we need to act fast!!!
I beg u all to atleast think of it...

OK, let's see if I got it...
We will end the TOP 10 threads so no one will know which music to download? And also close some other threads???
HOW we could present a 0-Tolerance to traders here? What can we do about it?
I didn't understand how we can do anything...

Goblim the nods cant just sit and edit or delete every thread...its just not possible.....the worst part is some people on this forum have to sides...the 'pirate' side and the ''i care about the artist/ibuy my music' side...

Here we are again, there is already another post for this topic, but it seems that there is not much we can do about. I think that those who want to live from their music will move on to something else just like Simon did.

Unreleased music - not in stores. Trading unreleased music doesn't hurt the industry (even though it is immoral). Trading releases does.

All of these trading thing is because one thing:
IMPATIENT PEOPLE!
there are people who are impatient to wait that the album/compilation will be released and they will buy it
so they try (and succeed) in getting rare tracks.
also, i think the artists should save better on their tracks and not giving them to anyone!

cause there is a thing called promo
u send music to radio, shops and more
so u say, not to send anywhere before release?
and who will promote then?
it's endless.
we neew new technology or laws...

I just think that trance and chill out are two totally different scenes..
chill out has existed for 100s of years..
trance.. well a few decades.. depending how you count it..
