Spoken like a true trancer............
To the rest....Why does it matter who taught who.....Why can't you think that maybe they both learned a little bit from each other......Why does it matter if Logic taught Dennis or vice versa....? Sometimes people get very petty and ridiculous on these post and I'd bet most that speak as if they know, really have no idea..... |

Hello everyone! My first post goes out to this album that's been rocking my brain for almost a year. I buy a lot of CDs off saiko and psyshop, I find most get boring so fast, which is not the case here. I think this one still sounds fresh and interesting, has crystal clear production, and is super psychedelic.
My favorites:
1 nice deep opener
3 is a total funky frenzy- love it! "patterns, colours"
4 is a deep one with cool percussions, floating vibes
5 reminds me of Koxbox oldschool
6 is good and rolling with organic beats
8 gets pretty nuts too, great drums in 2nd half
Last chill track is soooo smooth...
I didn't like 2(bad bass line) and 7 also.
Everyone should buy this mindblowing album. I only wish that some trax would had let it go a little longer in their endings because they have such wicked sounding synth lines that I don't want to end! I wish I was at the live show in Toronto, maybe one day they'll make it out west. |

Well I didn't like this album much... but I had a chance to listen to them live this summer... and WOW! I was completely blown away... the fusion of their old style with the new progressive was simply amazing!
If you get a chance to catch their live, don't miss it! Definitely one of the best live acts I had the pleasure of experiencing...
How am I supposed to hallucinate with all these swirling colors distracting me! |

Thats true..but accordning to Logic Bomb, they learned the techniues from Dennis..
They said that themselves..
"HuxFlux - Dennis introduced us to the techniques of sound-engineering, and if it wasn't for him we would not be were we are today. God bless this incredible talanted man. "
http://www.psynews.org/intervws/logicbo2.htm
read it yourselfs..
as for the cd..its a nice one..especially like the first track..

HuxFlux-rox!!! Their fist album was great, and division by zero is also fantastic.
It represents maturity and control and ages well over time. One of the best of 2003 along with Eraser V/S Yojalka-tarinat.{my most beloved album} |

THis Album is pretty nice.
For me this Hux flux album is true to their style.
Although i did prefer the first " Kryptic Krunch " album,i think this one is a good too with natural evolution of the artists.
-number 2 (ultrastructure) ,sounds really like Hux flux!
-4: Skurk ,kind of morning track ,with the voices that i really enjoy.
-8,(Numerous numerics) i like also this one a lot.
I really want to see their live set again. |

Whatever opinion you all have IMHO this one lacks the Organic feel that "Kryptic Krunch" album had. |

I think this is a really great album, maybe not quite as up there as Kryptic Crunch, but some great moments nevertheless... HUX FLUX rules
