Etnica..of course!!!!!!
They've been round for so long (and they don't often play in Italy) that I tend to forget that they are Italian.
Recently I've seen a very good Italian DJ

He told me that he'll soon play in Israel...so watch out for him! |

FRom what i hear until last year there was nothing but its now rising very fast ..
For Sure Neurobiotic gave a super push to scene ..Italians should make a statue for super Dj Edo!!

Certainly something is changing. The SUNEXPLOSION 2004 Festival is a new thing for us. Mainly beacuse it looks like a real festival with a strong international line up.
But it can't be said that before there was nothing. The Italian scene has always been very underground. But some parties in the early years in Bologna attracted 5000 people.
The more promoters arrived the smaller the parties became.
Still the Street Parade in Bologna has always been on the rise....and mind you: this is not a commercial street parade! Psy trance in most of the trucks, organized by the Italian tribes.
People that attented went from 1000 the 1st year to 100.000 last year.
Higly recommended if anyone is in Bologna on the 3rd of July.
Also we have Level 57 and Leoncavallo. They are both squots but very well organized and parties there can attract up to 4000 people.
But with things hopefully quickly changing for the best I hope to see soon an Italian section on Isratrance-International.

being absent almost whole month made me forget to reply to this... beside all u already mentioned u forgot: lotus omega
and yeah matteo "loopus in fabula" is also from milano (as well as lotus and etnica).
As for record labels we have the biggest whos surely neurobiotic and we had out of orion (wich released 5 albums before bankrupt).
I know theses also Magma records somewhere linked woth the israelian scene/label.
For Milano u forgot to mention the whole Contact team (wich im part of) that organized party from 1995 and still is.
All usually is listed on goatrance as already stated but there also other underground parties which arent published so much 
Anyway welcome to italy! |
