LOL, I think you are all kidding yourselves. Chances are, there will be no party without drugs...or a very boring one at least! I am not so sure I would even want to go to such a party. LSD and weed definitely help you get more into the music, and that is no bad thing. I would prefer that the people were into the music instead of chit-chatting on the dancefloor.
And it DOES NOT make all music sound good....bad music will still sound bad, but you can certainly appreciate the psychedelia in music better with certain substances. For sure it is better to have LSD and weed @ a party than to have coke, speed, alcohol, or even MDMA.
It is a different story if you go to a party with mostly experienced people in attendance. After a few times, you don't need the drugs. Some people are lucky and they can "tune in" without out ever having done any drugs...if you are one of those people, good for you! But everyone is not like you.

Gnosis thru dance combined with alchemical gnosis?
Is it absolutely neccasary? Probably not.
But what is ones intention? For Dancing? For throwing a party?
The two as one seems at the very least a birthright.
If those who can approach the experience with some level of integrity and responsibility, come together with a common thread, it can be the cornerstone of a quality communal party experience.
Without the alchemy the party does change....peoples minds wander off to mundane affairs and creating sacred space can be more challenging.
The music alone is magickal, but with the alchemy it can catapult you in a direction exponentionally further than with the music alone.
So I will always choose dance + alchemy. |

I'm so used to weed that it doesn't make much of a difference at all, yet I keep rolling one after another during a party:-)
It's been 3 years since the last time I had acid which also was the last time I attended a festival, and it kind of feels like I lost some of that magical feel which the drugs and music combined had brought me.
Usually it's E which I take, which I feel more comfortable with in smaller indoor parties.
Though I definitely feel I'm not getting the whole picture of the Psychedelic vibe.
E is fun and relaxed but to me a good acid trip is what it's all about.
But no drugs at all, for sure is a no go for me:-)
I would be extremely bored.

Agree.
I can't deny the fact that a spliff makes me more relaxed and cheerful.
But yet, I've attended some parties on which I had more pleasure without dropping anything.
It was all about the natural state and the music itself.
What about alcohol? Never enjoyed at parties, btw. |

alcohol alone depends.. but it s good mixed with all sort of drugs..but depends persons..it multiply the effect of drugs to me |

I must agree with the majority that it might be a good party and why not...
but do not forget that lsd and all the psychoactive substances are our means of transportation without them we are stuck...except if you are an experience shaman and you can get into trance with just the drums and the bass....

i had my fair share of psychoactive substances and enjoyed most of it, sometimes to the max, but to think that you are stuck without them is a huge misconception, i would even say that regular use of them keeps you stuck (and in the meanwhile you believe you are not).
not talking about a spliff here.
