From what I have seen of Timo Maas, he totally sucks as a dj. I do think he is a great producer though.

Timo has engineers working for him in the studio. He is not producing the tunes on his own. But his mixing is solid and tune selection (if you appreciate that kind of music) is proper bo!

Exactly the opposite, Timo make music alone and his track selection is his weak point since he has no taste (he uses many styles without any taste or limit) . That the reason he suck as DJ. |

Timo Maas is band name, like Jon Bon Jovi. If they are two ppl it doesn't mean someone help them to produce.
Timo Maas is not his real name, it is taken like Jon Bon Jovi, Madona or Marc O'Tool.
Read the topic you provided, one of them clearly answer WE DID, WE DO, WE THINK.
You said he working with engineers who make music for him, that what i was disagreeing with. |

You are reffering to Timo Maas as a band and I am reffering to Timo Maas the DJ. My point was that Timo Maas started out as a DJ who later got famous as a producer as well. But despite the fact that he has an engineer working for him (who does not spin back to back with, or at all as far as I know), he didn't choose a new name for his "band", but simply used his DJ alias...which is quite misleading. Anyway, we are playing with words.

I have seen Timo Maas play twice, I thought his mixing was pretty average and his track selection was all over the place ( and I do appreciate that kind of music). Never really got the crowd going either time.

Hi, im shopon from Mexico. I really like all styles in trance, specially progressive. Personally, I like putting some fresh and relaxing tunes in the beggining, and then some house-psy-scandinavian trance for fitting the last part. I really like the european progressive sounds with israeli rhytmic. (haha i hope it is written like that)... And I agree completely in the surprise factor, including many songs you havent expected.
good vibes from Mexico.
