The problem is that people use terms and names just to sell more trying even sometimes to trick consumers due to their ignorance on a certain subject.
Its like those refreshments in red and white cans named Koka Kola or Coke or Cola,they look like Coca Cola,they even taste close to Coca Cola BUT they are not Coca Cola.

In the booklets from several labels is even written that they release psytrancemusic, but they do not.

Isn´t that the same issue of the track names? I mean, if a lot of tracks have suggestive names, so the labels just followed what "artists" started.
I feel a little lost with these genre names (goa, psy, dark, proggy, etc).
I guess the word GOA trance means the same as PSY trance, except when used in an especific context (for example: the old goa melodies).

Right, i see it the same way. And most people in germany (at least where i live) say 'Goa' insteat of 'psytrance'. Partys are called 'Goa Partys' and not 'Psytrance partys'. Maybe the flyer says psytrance party but people always talking about 'Goa'.
I think this is the reason for the name of the cd. Psytrance is here generally known as 'goa', so as also said the YSE compilations mostly selled in big (and small)'normal/general' cd stores, so with the name 'Goa' u reach a lot of people. Especially u reach the people who just heared 'goa' at a party or at friends house or just someone told them 'goa' is really good 'techno'-music.
Detox i understand u, coz i always had an aversion to YSE and their 'we want to make money' compilations which are released almost weekly or monthly.
YSE sucks.

Thats right, people in germany say:"Lets go to a goa-party". Its just a speech, they mean psytrance and they want to listen to psytrance. Its same as people say I wanna eat pommes frites, an mean french fries, for example.
"...We want to make money compilations" - Yes, how they could? Its unbelieveable that they want to make money, what a fuck. Its even not very nice that they buy all the tracks for good money from several trancelabels (Midijum to Hommega) and keep our scene alive. Because - you allready recognized for sure - all this tracks have been allready licensed and YSE resells them. But its out of morale, because they just think about money. lol
I do not understand why trancepeople often attack companies which help our scene and the labels to be alive. Every Artist and every label which reselled a track on YSE is a part of thoose CDs. So they all make money with it, where is the problem? Because of they used "Goa" for marketing? The trancescene uses "PLUR" for self profiling, thats a bigger lie at all.

Not only are many of YSEs "hits" compilations pretty good buys - in the last year or so, they’ve also released some pretty nice exclusive releases, like the albums from Sonic Cube, Andromeda, Soul Surfer, and a compilation like Goa-X. Their releases are almost always good value for the money.

Yes u r right, it is not a problem to sell to make money, coz we all need it. What i wanted to say was another personal view:
I just don't like YSE and their compilations.
I post reasons later, coz i need to eat something

Bjorn you are missing the whole picture my friend.
The problem is not what kind of music YSE releases but how it labels it and why it labels it like this.No one is judging here if the music of YSE is good or bad.
If you spent some time to read my Coca Cola example then you wont ask me again whats the issue here.
P.S Concerning my release if i wanted to take advantage of something and sell more cds then i would name it All Systems GOA and not All Systems Go,next time come with a better and justified example
