Q: How do you organize your CDs / Downloads genre wise ?

A: hemm.. On my iTunes/iPod it goes something like this:

- 3D In My Mind :: Only contains two albums so far; "Psykovsky - Debut" and "Zolod - Deja Vu Fabrique"
- Deep In A Forest :: Of course, here we can gather brilliant forest music like "V/A - Sanatonic Audio", "Derango - Tumult" and "trold - Once Upon A Time....."
- Eh, Full-On? :: Where we of course store music like "IM - IM The Supervisor", "SynSUN - Pheonix" and "Deedrah - Body & Soul"
- Epic Mushrooms :: Duh, goody old Infected albums + + ^^
- Goa is Cosmic :: with the likes of "Braincell - Universal Language", "V/A - Suntrip", "V/A - Destination GOA" and even "Deedrah".
- Hey Yo Electronica :: Everything from "Orbital", "Fluke", "Chemical Brothers" to "Cypher".
- Just Breath and Chill :: "Shulman", "Bluetech", "Psyfactor - Endless Universe" ect ja?
- Rock & Roll Baby! :: "Marilyn Manson", "Tool", "The Moody Blues", "Nirvana" ect ja?
- Rollin' PsyCore Stuff :: umm.. "Furious", "V/A - Kill Fucking Bill" .. Yeah, you get the picture .. wroom dunk wroom dunk wroom dunk wooka wooka bajah
- Techno Crap - (OBS! Best Techno album in ages if not ever! -->) "Ka-Sol - Fairytales", "Shiva Shidapu" and "ghreg on earth"
- Progressive shait :: "V/A - Dragon Tales", "Cujorius One" ..
- Vodka Vs. Azid :: "Eraser vs Jojalka", "Taxas Faggott" yeah yeah and "Haltya"
- Spytooned Psytones :: "V/A - Not My Cup of Tea", "Odd Harmonics" and general cartoon psy from Aussie.. like New Zealand and shit jeah.

This will change as time flies …

.. My Cd's are like Nathen said, organized chaos Every now and then I enjoy my self by cleaning and putting my albums in system, but one weekend later, and it's all a mess again.

I think it's super ok that people download *respect*, and I digg it to death when people buy, because I can relate to 'that' special feeling.
I got 300 + albums.
soon I will catch up with PKS

Happy weekend -

Ive got one case logic for "dark" and fullon, and another for progressive and chill. The dark/fullon one is totally full so Im thinking I need another one for the fullon. As for further organization, they get so mixed up even if I did organize the genres, theyd be mixed right up again in no time.

Im paranoid with my cds, theres thousands of dollars there, so I try to move them as little as possible to avoid scratching. So, one goes into the player, one goes in the slot left open.           .

Now why the fuck the moderators don't delete this thread that ppl talk about how they put their MP3 and stupid trader unreleases downloads on their hard drive? i really doubt they have separated stands of original cds with large stickers on it that says "full on" "dark" "prog" "chill out". Fucking scandalous.

excuse? everyone who wrote about their mp3's first wrote about how they sort their original cd's. where's the problem? there are royalty free mp3's too, see?

aaand, why do you doubt this? is it that unbelievable that people actually love their original cd's and put them in an order? no need for stickers, tho.
