hardly know anyone who is overstaying ... many of the older people got longterm visas for 5- 10 years and made a living in india by choise
and that was b4 there was that incredible (corrupt) India demand hugh amounts ... Since most people get a 6 month visa and you need time to explore the country many ppl come here for more then a month ... see thats maybe why you bump into the same faces over and over
The mayority of people who visit India work hard to make it down to experience the beautiful country.
and i as a student used to have more time then normal working people as well ...

normally evry morn they score 10 T sell 5 T s and keep 5 T s for themselves and thts the way they make there

if u really want to make it to nepal you will. 
i dont think its about how much you make ( it helps but its not the most imp factor) or the currency rate ..imo i think its whether your willing to make the choice of living off a few bucks and making partying & traveling more important in your life than whatever your currently doing that is holding u back.
so day_tripper maybe the better question is:" r u willing to leave ur steady income,a comfy bed and alll your chicks to go out n explore the world with whatever u have? "

Met this Turkish and Norwegian couple. After a drunken night in goa they told me their way of making money was to jip those 'eager to know firangs' lot. They did that for over 2 years..visa expired and they left. It was hilarious to see them at work. An art I tell you.
