How come the scene in Goa is so conservative?

Goa was all full-on in '95? I guess it's kinda funny hearing this. Weird, but funny. Goa is about recycling the 2002 sound, just like most other places. Azax Syndrome and Psychotic Micro alongside Psyside and Astrix instead of GOW, Parasense and GMS, but it's only the names that are different.
Goa was the cutting edge up to 97-98, up to then, quoting quite a few people here - you weren't considered a proper DJ before playing there.

its not just about baksheesh and corrupt cops and local mafia, there is also mafia from other countries, hard up people only looking to flip out and peaceful hippies running away to give way to neo-breed which just destroys. It used to be a place where our plur-dreams came true... we changed it to what it is now.
