Japan horror movies suck big time and its a pity cause they got other very good films coming out at the same time that get buried under stupid releases like The Ring and The Eye and i dont know what.
And not only they suck big time but also they release every six months another sequel,i mean Ring and The Eye must have together around 10 sequels.What the fuck?

rubbish .. the few I`v seen didn't rely at all on in your face scary images and acting .. quiet the opposite .. triggering fear by way of ambiance and suggestion . creepy .. the ring and few others became cult classics and people raped them .. much like fullon music ..lol .. *poke*

Hehe... Think that was my first Lucio Fulci film also... was about 10 or something when I got my hands on it and I was so happy to finally see a murder in a horror movie! Friday the 13:th series was the first horror movies I watched, but I was so pissed at the Swedish censors that cut out everything 
I agree that they are not scary... But I only watch horror movies for the "arts" sake... I don´t get frightened of horror movies anyway... I just watch them to see how good effects they have done when ppl gets killed  ...and the old horror movies from the 70´s early 80´s is something else =) Don´t like digital effects

Zombie Flesh Eaters,
House By The Cemetery,
...those are some of his films that I have seen.... not brilliant story´s but real nice closeup´s and gore effects
