sounds amazing and I hope to make it to this one.
Organizers and anyone wondering about the risk of clouds should read this report http://home.cc.umanitoba.ca/~jander/tot2010/weather10.htm
It sounds relatively optimistic, but discusses better and worse locations on the island to view the eclipse due to wind and altitude. Does anyone know where the festival will be on the island? |

This is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Can you imagine if the dancefloor had a view of the eclipse AND the moai? Looks like I am going to pass on the Japan 2009 festival, but this gives me something to start planning for! |

yes, i did receive the last mail and u know what?
ticket if u buy until 1 august 09 will b 500 USD
if u decide 2 do it after february 10 will b 800 USD
flight from st.chile to the island will b round 750 USD
like the mail says no more i think retour ticket is
more 750 USD, therefore a total of 1500 USD
then if u flight from europe looks like the tickets can b around 700 EUROS, go and back to st.chile
so, according 2 this numbers is a 1500/2000 ppl party that can cost between 3000/3500 EUROS
and the best part is that we still don't know nothing of the line-up, only that the island itself is the 8th world wonder ... just hope that when the line-up will b reveled we don't find, like in this year japan eclipse line-up, 30/40 dj's that no one knows nothing about
anyway i wish my best 2 the party organizers as well as 2 the 1500/2000 lucky-rich-happy-trancers
that will b there and in between i go check how 2 make money, quickly and a lot of it, 2 b part of this amazing event

ps.: i just remember that in 2006 turkey eclipse party the ticket was 180 EUROS and there where around 40/50 top world dj's, at least and the beer was 4 euros a can ... maybe we can get beer this time for 1 EURO, no?
