Agreed not a lot of dancing, but that depends on a lot of factors, firstly they are playing hi tech in the morning. Not sure that's everybody;s cup of tea.Sonic scizzor bpm is a bit too fast too.

In any party though its the whole equation not just the music .... the people, the vibe, the quality of lsd, the set and setting ... etc.

Lot of dancing here .. for example

The other thing to remember with hitech in the morning videos are that a lot of people have been there on that dancefloor for an exctremely long time at that point.

I gotta agree though OzMike that video you posted is really horrible. All the samples and shit are super annoying.

Listen to
sonik sizzor - nature's roar

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfdeVD_AXSQ

I like the track, its decent and with some nice last hippe standing samples. Should be thrown in at the end or middle of a good hitech set.           "Whoever said the best things in life are free... obviously grew their own bud"

Dont know why so many haters towards Hi tech. They are musicians maybe not for your personal choice but for a certain crowd who like this genre they are musicians .

Live and let live !

I don't mind his Jitter Fractal track on Mighty Quinn but nothing after that did much for me.           Cuntus Maximus.

to me hitech sounds like a randomness competition. thankfully the metal-scraping-on-metal sounds aren't that popular anymore, but it now seems like everyone tries to put in as many unexpected sounds and deviations from structure as possible in as little time as possible (which leads to steadily rising bpms), disregarding storytelling, rhytm, atmosphere and musicality completely.

the result is something that makes it completely impossible for me to have a trance dance experience and i can't see how it can be different for other people with a break every few seconds. it's also not necessarily pleasant to listen to and keeping the fullon/darkpsy bass pattern and speeding it up just makes it sound silly and provides no extra energy from the raised bpm. hitech tracks either have a total lack in the kick/bass department or it all melts into an undistinct wobble, reducing the drive to levels i'd get from dubstep which is close to zero.

but it isn't the bpm i have a problem with. take this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8Tzq-RpatU
or this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fLOisB8nio&feature=youtu.be&t=40m55s
it has high bpm, but is intense and driving with distinct kickdrums, and it still has a sense of rhytm, it is musical, has melodies, atmosphere and can put you into a trance. (not to mention that the first one has some nice tb-303 action )

Never heard that style, but listened to above youtube stuff and think it does not sound like (psy)trance more maybe hardcore (techno) with some unusual elements. I dont like HC techno so I also dont like this so called hitech.           http://soundcloud.com/alphaquadrant
