hey Upavas!
i checked it out now, really great, thx!
i didnt recognized the 300Hz cut @ lead, but the 2kHz cut i reproduced well.
i think my main fault was the bad bassequalizing... i didnt cut the high frequencies well and that gave me no chance to make it fit together.
again a BIG THANK YOU Upavas!
have a nice weekend!
now im happy

its psytrance...justslap everything to gether with no compression or EQ..it will sound great
asuming you know how to actually make sounds that do not conflict, and not having to resort to FX "fixes"

but they r talkin about full on here.
full on producers care about frequency conflicts before even made some music
no, just joking. i had a short listen and think it's quite o.k. i like your bassline. but i don't get the sense of eq just 2-3 elements. in a mix there are always overlapping frequencies. the whole picture has to sound nice imo.
for my taste the lead is too static. i just felt like throwing some fx over it (i did nothing else!)

better is to bring in some modulation with the synth and combine with other elements. perfect eq u can do later...

hey sly! also thx to your imput, it sound very nice when i cut off frequencies from 10kHz - 22kHz ^^ those damage my ears in this case lol... but the rithm fx in the background is really hot! ... another problem of my tracks... you can add everywhere anti harmonic fx´s but this is to much for me at the moment, im new^^
this is just a short part in my track, and i wanted to enjoy the melody here, thats why we only talk about kick, bass & lead... its because i miss mixing knowledge, and i cant go on if i dont know the standards.
really thanks to you both, for taking the time!
one little dump question: full on = K B B B
right?^^
greetings

u r welcome. i was just in the mood doing something for fun sorry for the highs, but the lows damage your ear anywayz
when listen to your bass i guess u know already: yes kbbb is quite standard in full on and also in psy.
just go on, f***in' standards suck anywayz. the music is not interested in your skills . enjoy the melody and then freak out...
just another method that can work but sure u r right, nothing against some mixing knowledge.
peace, i smoked too much today. wish u a nice evening |

Orgytime,
glad I made your day
It really helps to cut the 2khz range for most leads doesn't it?
The fault was simply that for some reason the 2khz frequency bugs the bassline in a lead, nothing new... now you know a trick to get around it
The bassline could be a bit more full, but it is good enough imho!
