I agree with randulon and I agree with muzk.

With randulon's point, I agree that as soon as you label something it loses that very same thing you put on it. (Like when you go to complement a dj when he's playing and the very next track he either fcks up his beatmatach or plays some shitty thing that makes you leave the dancefloor in embarrassment for just complementing him).

With muzk's point, I totally agree and tell people the same when I'm asked: that psychedelic trance is created with an intention that we know and recognize as psychedelic.

It's just that when you say it's psychedelic or spiritual, you sound like a dumbass unless you add "... for me".
But even then... LOL

To myself, I know it's helped my spirit grow and that's manifested in my outward life in ways I could only dream. So yeah, the good shit that I love is indeed what I would call spiritual and empowering and all that.

Nice that you took the middle path and found the balance I like it.

But I have to admit, I too agree with the way Randulon and anyone else feels the way they do. I've seen so many really awesome, amazing people have a terrible experience with psy because there's a lot of pseudo bullshit in this culture for sure. But you can't exclude anyone and with that you end up with a lot of crap too. But over time things tend to settle. Only the full power remains with the full power. And it's true that it's all very personal at the end of the day. Because it is we, as persons or personalities that are battling through this experience of being separate from yet connected to everything. So hyping up the psy scene as a collective of super enlightened beings or anything doesn't really mean shit. That's ignorant talk. And it's very obvious that psy culture is a good representation of society at large, and really nothing better or special. But intent is everything, for those make it matter.
