LSD is wonderful, it shows you doors but it doesnt really let you walk through them. . .
I see psytrance as a similar phenomonon dancing and ingesting psychedelics with other people around you is NOT a humanitarian action.
I think that if we actually want to start a revolution we need to walk through that door and use the solidarity that we gain from the trance dance experience. The question is revolt from what? go where?. . .
if instead of dancing every weekend a trance "community" posted a soup kitchen for example for everyone to come and help out
and told everyone to come and then have a party together afterwards that would be utilizing the connection that we have made with eachother the solidarity the immense energy of the trance experience to actually restore balance in the world. instead of the world balancing us into nothing. empty skulls. we can usher the world into a higher state of being but we need to condition ourselves to receive by giving. . .to not eat while others are hungry .. . .  ein chadash tachat hashemesh. there is nothing new under the sun. --kohelet. |

i think this "solidity" we pocess can and will grow stronger .And maybe its just a matter of time for us to become ready enough and actually get involved with how the system works and,well , "update" it ..

no, i really don't agree. we are technically more advanced but spiritually we're still in the stone age. and sprituality is what counts especially when one has too many powerful gadgets. the human race has started to open the wraps around the great mysteries from the wrong end, concentrating on the outside and not on the inside. both ways lead to the same place but with different results. outside = knowledge, inside = understanding... and that's a hell of a difference.

Damn right and that's the reason why there'll never be a psyvolution,because most people just wanna dance and take drugs and like everywhere else,just a few people really get things started.

You cannot generalise on the psytrance scene true many people just want to take drugs and dance but some people really experiment with sound and feeling and some people really go to other worlds through music. I can say this because for me this is the only purpose i follow this music and scene because i find myslef being spiritually uplifted through halucinogenics and music combined. It is in fact a door to heaven if taken really seriously. and like me most of my friends here in Malta live for this reason. I know we are few in this world which have arrived to this level but i am still happy cause at least some people do take things seriously and spiritually.

Dont really know but just have feeling that sumthing good is gonna hit the tribe very much close to so called revolution if not exactly a revolution or a movement.
Apart from this i believe that everything is round & moves in a circular motion & hence repetitive. So it would end up where it was all started, back to basic u see.... so as per my belief, it will turn back to the roots.

Well yes i think the music is the only thing that can get people together on the same frequency of life and trance, i think the music of today is great in quality but it lacks feeling, i mean on the dancefloor side cause the chillout is great feeling and new. So i think that and hope that next year we do have not one but more good messiah who think of giving a good feeling in the dancefloor not aggressive, not dark not too happy, not stupid, but intelligent psycedelic trance...

I think we have to be open minded and realistic. Open minded so that we do not exclude all the people that are not trance freaks or hippies. I mean if you really want a revolution you need to include all the mainstream people and I guess it has to be something that does actually make sense in the every day world for everyone. Something that is easy for lots of people to understand. And we have to be realistic because you may be a flower child while dancing high on e but maybe as you get older and raise some kids you may find out you are the same as everyone else protecting your own interests and coping with life trying to make ends meet.
Plus everyone has to find their comfort zone, find out who they are, so feel free to detach from the “movement” so you can find out who you really are. Because that’s where you are nice and easy and the most healthy strong and sound. Get back with your own family and nurture where you came from for example, that’s a big personal revolution for me . A lot of people can dive crazily into this new revolution but maybe you need to start with your own family and making sure everything is good there. Like I just don’t see the revolution when you and your loved ones are not in a nice balance, so my opinion is that you should return home to who you are and forget trying to be the super psychedelic freak. Otherwise what you though was the psychedelic revolution might just be a momentary lapse of reason in your life.
Also if we do really want to set the example, well we have to be legit, because if not we are trying to push the whole world into a door we ourselves have not even gone into. So maybe lets take it easy and think about it, plus we already know plenty of things that just need to be put to action. Like we have enough to work with, lets just apply some of that knowledge into everyday life and test our ideas interacting and making a living with them.
And I don’t see the point in waiting for a Messiah when we are all living, breathing, feeling and thinking beings. Maybe we just need to turn on.
It reminds me, somebody when encountered Buddha asked him: Are you a God or a Human? To which Buddha replied: <<I am awake>>

It takes a lot to awaken so many different kinds of people man, i think music is one way of making a unity between tribes and it can also be the contrary but anyway...It's all very difficult nowadays even more but i still have hope that good dancefloor music will get together many people on the same Frequency...
