The problem is that they don't want to ban commercial parties - they want to clamp raves which take place on beaches and probably no licence fee is paid or not much alcohol is sold! Probably they want concrete resorts where people pay a lot of money to drink whiskey and the state pockets all the luxury and entertainment tax.

All the cops and politicians or the authorities can do is bark 
the parties will go on year after year after year........
we will continue going to goa year after year after year
the cops wont be able to stop us
only thing that may stop us is the quality of parties......
if they keep on deteriorating.......commercialsing then im sure most of us will want out of them
but have no fear some freaks are always goin to remain and so the underground will stay alive
papers publishing such stories atleast gives the public an assurance that there will be no raves in goa......which is good in a way.......there will be no more articles in any of those newspapers written by pesky journos springing up during december......

It is true that there gonna be scenes out in Goa. The cops are gonna put the court Law of no loud speakers after 10.00 pm.But 25th Decemeber - 10 January Goa will surely rock

nothin all is crap , all that news and stuff about Wilfred is just to assure the local people that they are looking into the matter and all.... But Wilfred isnt against the whole raving scene, he sort of supports it,recently there was a party at Currlies ,South Anjuna with Xerox and it was good , all nite even after sunrise .... so no need to worry one bit id say
