lol I know.

it was almost a sad day. I didn't make it until almost 7:30pm on Saturday. It was a very wet weekend. The weather did its best to keep us down but

MOTHER NATURE WILL HAVE TO TRY HARDER!!

we do it big in asheville dammit!!

haha

it was still a great time. soggy feet and all. great tunes and wonderful people. sadly some of my favorite deco was destroyed and retired in the emergency move of the stage location.

Only personal tragedy was falling down the stairs and damn near breaking myself. I'm going to be walking funny for a week. Landed directly on my spine on the sharp edge of the stairs. Yoww. My back is screwed.

I'll let some of the heavy hitters give a review that were there for longer.

I had a good time

Hi folks, it's Amos here... I think I registered for the isratrance forums like five years ago but never posted until now.

A plea from the heart:

I am missing a large blue tapestry, which somebody took down from the open-air stage when the party location was moved to higher ground.
It's a large Buddha printed on blue hand-dyed cloth, about 8 feet tall by 4 feet wide. It was hanging from the covered booth where Gil was originally going to play. Somebody took it down; I don't know who and I don't know what they did with it. That tapestry was a gift from my mother to me, and it's extremely important to me. Surely somebody knows what happened to it. Help?

Hey Amos i'll make some phone calls to some folks that were helping move stuff from the main stage to the covered stage so we can try and get that resolved..i'm sure its safe

The party was AMAZING! Yea it was super soggy, the place was a huge puddle for sure but the experience couldn't of been any more incredible.

Gil absolutely KILLED it this year. Came out swinging since the show got off to a late start we didn't get to hear the amazing tribal sounds of Arianne but thats ok there's always next year! I've never seen such a community effort to get a party started in my entire life! It was so beautiful to see everyone getting soaked to move speakers 400 yards to another stage...the overhead spandex display done by psylotus was sick, its a shame we didn't get to rage out underneath it. Pyite/Kelly - You rock man, sorry about the hive tapestry I know you worked 8 hard months on that thing just for it to get ruined, so I'm glad we put it behind the booth at the benefit and we got some SUPER UV pics of it before its "demise".

HUGE thanks to the gil crew for an amazing event! Can't wait for next year...also i've decided that i'll be attending memorial meltdown from now on also

lol! Unfortunately I was stone sober and it was at 10am after I had just woke up from a long sleep in the front seat of my car. I am sure if would have hurt less if I had been loose and drunk. haha.

I am still creaky and cracky and bruised but I can move a lot better now. =D
