Also i wanted to point out that all of this confusion is because the music in the parties/ festivals is not the same as before nowadays the music is mostly commercial so how can one get baptised into trance with that man! Impossible not even if there is the greatest vibe it all comes down to the music! my opinion |

ganjagil - i agree!
the spirit is still there... its out there in the people that care about the music, its just harder to find them.. the same as finding creative joyful music with soul.... it goes hand in hand....
it´s a difficult thing to say that some artists are just out for the fame and money, but there are some of them....
it has been a easy scene to be famous in, lets hope that it changes..

I also agree with TriptoComa and Karma Cola also it is the plain truth we just need more artists that do the music with love and soul so that they will automatically baptise the newbee into the trance culture were all is wonderful people! We do not need artists that are running on heavy ego trips! They are not part of what we beleive in and they will never be! |

anyway:
A very nice and polite post, but bottom line is:
power, energy, simple to the ears, ultracompressed 4/4 loudness, repetitive, E, famous brands, mtv, clubbing, DA dj yo, no alcohol no fun, turbosound without mids, anti-deco, top10...etc etc
all that is just a lifestyle - apparently, full on goes well with it. Answer why to yourself though.
 Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

Yes well i keep forgeting that fullon is the commercial stuff because for me fullon is like full power melodic music but anyway of course this so called full on goes well because it's main streme commercial music nothing else! |

exactly...its all about the understanding. this culture is united at heart. most of us want our space,at the same time, we want a common brotherhood and should be able to be compatable in whatever our surroundings may be.
its not that full on music lovers do not have compassion or understanding,my persomnal opinion is that most of them are in just to have a good time and then move on when they get bored,although i know a few people who just like the change from the regular!
i feel all parties should be held outdoors,in the wilderness,because thats where the whole essence of the scene is.thats where you fell the energy,the love,the brotherhood.
not everyone is here to stay in the scene,some are just travellers and we must respect that too,although i think everyone should enjoy that feeling of oneness with oneself and the environment around you.

wht i really love bout the scene is the selfless streak.
to share beautiful emotions with everyone on the dance floor. seriously if it wasnt fr psytrance i wdnt be the person i am. its mellowed me down as a person plus its an uplifting feeling at the same time.
i really hate the "attitude" that comes along with it all.
