Progressive trance from my pov is just getting better and better with every album. The future is bright, just w8 for albums by Ace Ventura, Liquid Soul and SCS.

i am really looking forward to SCS album,he is one of the pioneers in prog trance!also ACE VENTURA have showed some nice traxx and i quess they will have a good cd!when it comes to L.S. hmmm ok i like his traxks,very nice sound quality,pumping basslines bla bla
but
i think that he is "too profesional"..
i mean,he found a formula and he produces traxx with knowledge and balance but without feeling!his tracks are "right"they re not "good", in my humble opinion of course!

Taste is very subjective thing. We see things as we are and not as they are.
Imho L.S has a very unique style with strong impact. His tracks always standout
and the highlight of any set buy many dj's. Just like FREqs tracks are.

i agree with u man,but this is not about taste!i also like his traxx!but they re nothing more than good and solid kickbass and z3ta presets 
i am not bushing L.S.,as i told i really like his traxx but every new V/A has anew L.S. track!this guy just "got the meaning"and he just"produces tracks".LIQUID SOULLESS 
FREq on the other hand is unique,this guy came out of nowhere with"short life again" and made all the people talking bout him!but he must have passed about 10 years in his studio searching all this buttons and oschilators,thats why he has a personal unique perfect style!

Exactly. But you have to be into progressive in the first place to appreciate it truly, which a lot of people on this forum are not.

in my eyes progressive sound has never been so interesting like today. we have intensive influences from techno, electro, house and even rock-music. its great for the creativity. |

same goes for progressive as for all other music=95% is crap and to dennis i think they still need 5 more years to fully realize it,Actually Sun Control Species,Beat Bizarre and Antix are the only ones i can listen without getting headache. |

yeah mat, the point is that extrawelt or minilouge for example are not tranceacts if you watch their released vinyls. you have to pick them up on techno/electro-labels. if you ask fuzzion what sound he is making i doubt that he is answering "psytrance."
its wonderfull what i like to repeat here: trance is a concept, not a style. |

true, but u can't ignore the psy feeling some of his tracks have, maybe a trace of trance from the past. everything evolves...

It seems to me that the likes of Extrawelt, Fuzzion, Trentemoller are making more Psychedelic and adventorous music than most of the artists in the Prog, Full-On, Dark-Psy scenes. Could be only me though.
