Sorry you left so early from the party. Saturday had some great chill beats by Blue Spectral Monkey, Alberto from Left Channel, and our very own Shai from Divine Balance Records. Then we moved into some Konflux action, followed by Binary and Bob Traphek, then an uptempo set by Blue Spectral Monkey into the headliner Init String from Dallas TX. 3am was Baba/Bastard, followed by a Kri dj set, then Kaiser Soze with more stompeety stompeety stompy stomp stomp and what not. Then a super sweet closing set by LIVE impromto act '1000 Gifts of String' [although that had some sync problems due to faulty equipment.
For me, a jam packed lineup.
Still glowing here from this event !! and loving it.

thanks for all the great pictures!!! My mind completely went blank and I must have taken a total of 10 alltogether...
I have finally found one that proves that I was there! Otherwise it all felt like a dream!

Did you see the shuttles? There was a blue pickup truck and a red or white pickup truck with a trailer hauling people and camping gear between the parking lot, camping area, and IDM stage. The shuttles did seem to stop though at some point in the night, which shouldn't have happened, but there were a lot of strange things going on that night.

The trick at Shawnee Cave is to get everything you need in a bag and carry that around with you so you don't have to try to go back to your campsite.
Shawnee Cave shares the hilly quality of the landscape with the Four Quarters land that Gaian Mind Summer Festival uses. I found the hills and the swampiness of the valleys very evocative of 4 Quarters.
The shuttles gradually shut down because (1) the locals who drive the shuttles subsist on tips and donations, and when the cash flow drops low enough they stop running the shuttle (2) the big shuttle had automotive problems and had to be shut down (3) the other shuttle drivers gradually get into a state of mind where you really don't want them driving.
I hope more people bring bicycles next year. I saw only a few people on bikes this year; it really makes it easier when you have one.
The ancient Mysteries all involved some kind of Ordeal that preceded the rebirth of the initiatory candidate. Consider the tortuous climb up the hill your ordeal; be glad you aren't rolling a stone up the hill too.  |

I had an incredible time last weekend. Thanks to Julee and Troy for having me out.
The rest of the attendees - you guys really showed me some unexpected magical and mysterious things on the dancefloor that I had no idea could be taken to the level it was taken to... It was great to be involved in that.
It was great meeting so many awesome new people as well. |

BTW, I did manage to catch the blue pick up truck on the way up once  with a fat bearded man in a bright tie die T-shirt behind the wheel jamming some Rock n Roll! |
