Like you, D & I each got on average 3 hours a night of sleep from prep to finish, so I do wish I could have worked a little less hard, and am surprised by the adaptability of the human mind. I am by nature a lazy person and a festival is not a lazy person's game. However the payoff far exceeded the pain.

YES this festival was one of the strangest, most amazing, most luminescent things I have been involved with. Lot of power rocked through that place start to finish. I saw nothing but smiling faces and a chill vibe. I have lots of new design ideas, I have the ideal location for the chill stage next year. We learned alot from and about the owners and earned much mutual respect from the venue, which is worth a great deal.

Much love to the support and contributions provided by Wisconsin, Iowa and Asheville tribes, and the energy dropped on us by our beautiful friends and tribe allies in Chicago.

And never can we emphasize enough the love we have for the many people who treked out for this completely new festival, in a strange and difficult to reach location, paying out their hard-earned dollars to support an idea and a community.

We hope GeoLogic inspires more people to become active partners with us and bring their artistic efforts, their conceptual talents, their leadership and their community spirit to GeoLogic in the future. The GeoLogic tribe has been born; now let us see it grow.

I had an amazing time. That cannot begin to describe it, it was more than amazing. Still trying to assimiliate it all to write a wicked review but will start with saying that everyone I met/remet/found again/shared energy with/gave energy to/received energy from/stomped (now I know the real meaning of stomping with!) with/hugged/loved/cherised was absolutely amazing. The music was mind-blowing both nights. It was awesome how it switched up vibes (maybe just me?) each night. I want to write a better review then this but I am so appreciative that there is this in the midwest now. Thank you so much Chilluminati. Also, wonderful to have all the people from around the USA coming to show us how to do I definately am feeling the tribe vibe.

Love & everything,
Jeffz

I am going on 8/96 hours of sleep total so please don’t mind it::::To our immediate chillzooian crew...thanks so much for making this event one of the most memorable psy/goa experiences on this side of the equator...wow, what a feeling! The cave was beyond....just beyond anyones expectations, especially since I couldn’t make the trip the first time..which did pinch a little.... and compliments from Fred, Spook and the rest of the Divine Balance crew were endless regarding the caliber of friends and family/community that were present, involved and working together.. and also the actual location and outcome of the party, the venue...wow ! Cork and stew is right, igor!
to j&t,d,i,j&d,and M, I want to extend an apology for my less then active promoter participation on saturday post friday activities..due to no sleep 48 hours from work catching up w/me and also having to leave early on Sunday due to the whole artist drop off dealio and on-call sunday work thing, but such are the demands of the medical world...I know that although this reasoning may merely seem like an excuse to u guys..it is true and tried!!!

To the extended family(Iowa, Wisconsin, Ashville and Tejas) and all the beautiful friends who chose this as there destination for the weekend, GEOLOGIK was a true vision of what can happen when lots of positive light force energies come together and unite in celebration of sound. It couldn’t have been done with out you. Thanks so much for making this journey a permanent historical landmark of PSY/GOA evolution in the MIDWEST!

TO all the artists who contributed...everyone’s set was amazing and the integration of all types of sounds and styles was killah!!! SO diverse yet so UNITED!!! I loved it and very cool to make connections with so many!!! Fred/Spook, Kri, Bastard, BSM, Bob, Binary, Init String, ALP, Alberto and Pituko was a pleasure to re-connect with some of u and to connect for the first time with others...as for the rest of our chillzooian line up from psy..as always, the pleasure is mine...hehehehe...btw: paul--> fred mentioned how much he was enjoying your set when we had to leave...he loves that german tech...and asked if you had a demo... bsm-->my friendly neighbor.."doof-oof" is the new slang of the week..
kri--> my new goa baba-firangi style...what solid full on oomph-in-the-gut as a memory of the past goa years...wowowowowowow!!! loved stompin to it!
Soze and Igor--> you guys as usual cannot stop me from doing the jig everytime ur up!
Derbs-->sorri missed ur set:(....but u know why:))
jetski/konflux-->...boomboom all the way home

Crazy mad props to SPUNN who spunnt us all....and our honorary light doctor..Ben!!
Also to all the volunteers who helped during this event…thanks so much for covering this promoters gluteus maximus~~!!! (Pun intenteded)

ok bleary eyed i must retire for the day but thanks to everyone and lots of love, light and beyond..

BOOM SHANTI!!!!

I missed Neuromotor. I swet my ass off. I felt asleep to early on Sunday morning etc. etc. But I had a blast Place is amazing. Sound was amazing. Whole trip was amazing Shai vs Konflux, Albert, Binary (?) and Nick@chillstage sets were amazing. Spun amazing as always. Psymbolic visuals amazing as always. Gatsby twisted as always I want more

I think 2 things were missing: more people dancing (I know it was fuckin' hot and humid) and better chillout stage setup (I read Jeff's comment so next time it will be set up closer to camp sites down there)where we could sit/lay down, relax and listen to chillout beats (I just can't take too much hardcore/mindfucking psy .

And I want to get Boston Mass. T-shirt (Igor?)
And I want your sets Shai

Great weekend

What can I add that hasn't been said already? You know it all! I thank you all! I haven't seen that many smiling faces since I first opened my eyes to this world (the doctor kept saying that I wanted to go back inside)...

I will not thank anyone individually because you all people know who you are and what you did, and how much I truly love you all. I am proud to call myself a member of the Chilluminati.

We are making history. Know it. Feel it. Every day! We make a difference. And that is the most important gift that we can give.

It seems everyone has raving reviews...Well, sorry, mine isn't all praises...

PROS...

Firstly, after driving for four hours through a thunderstorm, I was relieved to finally reach the place.

The cave was awesome! I liked the location alot it was a great place for a party. Even lower down where the IDM stage was, was great, surrounded by trees everywhere... This is what I love, is outdoor forestish parties!!

NEUROMOTOR, played a wicked live set! I heard that his timing got switched. He started playing at 1:00AM (Friday night) but then SOT came on, and Neuro only resumed the controls around 3'ish. So 3 to about 5:30-5:45 was totally Fred with flawless mixing and a night side of Neuromotor that I don't think I've seen before in most of his released music.... Overall, an incredible live set.

CONS

Inavailability of a proper Line-up (even after repeadetly asking the organizers)

Sound on the main stage. In my opinion, the bass was echoing way too loudly in the cave and the mids and treble could barely be heard unless you were standing 5 feet from the speaker. Also I noticed that the music seemed to be louder earlier on Friday night, and the volume was turned down around 12-1am. Dont know why it was turned down, but it remained at this lower volume the remaining part of the night and morning. Overall, I feel there wasn't enough wattage and the levels weren't adjusted properly.

Now I'm beginning to complain but also the parking seemed to be a trek from the party... A STEEP UPHILL TREK....

Well, that's my two cents.... I left around 10am Sat. morning....

so now that my eyes focus once again.. i'm gonna throw out some thoughts on the Experience that was GeoLogic.
Venue: The Shawnee cave was mindblowing. Standing beneath it I felt as though I was in the womb of the earth. I swear at times it seemed as though it was breathing... alive!!

Organizers: To the Chilluminati crew and all the folks from Asheville, Iowa, Wisconsin, Texas... THANK YOU. Your enery, dedication and spirit was inspiring and i think that the collective conciousness of all the volunteers and all those who attended was enhanced by you guys.. Hats off for pulling this off... come rain, storm or medical emergencies!! Special woohoo to J&D, D&T, igor & derby ... you have ensured chicago a permenant place on the psy-map.

Music: In a word- WOW. The line up promised fireworks but delivered explosions. Fred... as usual your set was killer. you never dissappoint. spook and Init string were highly impressive. the duo from texas took me by surprise.. great sound. to the touchsamadhi crew.. what can i say... I am glad i finally got to hear you all... each set was rocking. monkey and kri ... it was almost impossible to stop bouncing when u played.. kaizer did great to wrap it up. derb and igor... solid as always. a big boom to all the artists..

The vibe and the energy of the experience it what set it apart. I feel fortunate to have been a part of it..

Peace

... and what a wicked set it was!!!! Nero and Spook make a good team. sorry about time confusion, we decided to switch at the last moment. Fred wanted to take his "passengers" on a twisted ride into the early morning hour he started at 3 instead of 1 am. Dr. Spook's retna overload began at 5. DVD insync with an up-lifting set. Underfoot (Paul) went on at 6 and graced us with deep morning grooves, done right and propper!           ----------------------------------------------
