Thanks a lot for this Neerav, listening to it right now and i must say this is definetaly an album to wake up with! a road trip companion, a festive and family ambience, a smiles spreader.. Beautiful songs, less electronic than 13th moon, but fresh world and tribal rythms to dance or chill on. Some tracks that will be part of my sets for sure.

Gathering the tribe
Respects to Interchill and all the artists on that compilation.

usually I download an album and then buy it if I like it, but with interchill, I have faith enough to buy them straightaway.
This isnt my favorite interchill compilation but it did expose me to more new producers..lot of credit to the wonderful people at this label for consistently improving their standards and experimenting with more and more artists.

Strangely enough, though Adham, is my favorite, I didnt like the track by him so much. Looking forward to his album and hopefully the track will make more sense in the album as a whole.

After having enjoyed this compilation a lot, nows it takes a special place in my Heart..

I've played two tracks from it on the quay of the Batofar in Paris (on sunday afternoon before some proggy deejays -incl. James Monroe pushed the vibes a bit harder hehe, this afternoon was under the thema of "India", with free entrance), the Alex Theory and also Tina Malia's "Sarva Mangala" which is actually a song that connects the days of the week with (hindu) Gods and salute them..

My girlfriend who was sitting nearby told me that she stared at an old woman (around 60) who was singing all along the track when I played it..

I was so overjoyed when she told it to me a few days after, hehe..

Bravo to the Interchill crew for this beautiful Gathering, it's good to be a part of it !

Interchill,

please dont worry about cosmicnaughty's negative impression of the album.

everybody has their own opinions. look at chavez, bush, putin, raja ram, and the 5 billion other inhabitants of this planet. they all see things differently.

at least cosmicnaughty liked the artwork. thats something positive.

i think the album is killer.

Maybe it's not the best compilation released by Interchill but it's definitely different.
I'm glad that you guys included Lorin's (Bassnectar) track

PS. Hi Neerav. I'd like to get your mixes/home compilations too if possible.

See you @ BM 07maybe?

I'd have to agree with you there, this isn't perhaps the best Interchill compilation, but it's nice to see at least some variation in their releases and I think they pulled this off nicely. And that Bassnectar track is a beauty - stunning vocal atmospheres, definately my favourite and overplayed track at the moment !!            - - It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice... - -

I can't wait for their next, dub-oriented releases

Check the bassnectar full length - mesmerising the ultra

other great tracks = laughter crescendo and replenish

looking back I'm really glad Neerav steered this comp in the direction he did... sunny summertime vibes... something different from the rest.

music often imprints and then triggers memories - and for me this album brings me back to driving with my family around dominical in costa rica earlier this year when most of canada was under 4 ft of snow

sub signals is out end november - audio and sales notes are on the arabesque site.
