I purchased this synth a about a month ago, though I have only started using it this week.

To be honest, I'm starting to love it. At first I wasn't that impressed with the demo but I decided to do an impulse buy and I soon warmed up to it after giving it a chance.

I love the waveform editor! The ability to build your own waveforms from scratch is something I've always wanted to have.

With the soound, from my experience it has definitely got a lot of punch and clarity in the highs. The modulation system is great, confusing at first though I like how its similar to massive, which is one of the synths I use in literally every tune.

What is also really great about this synth is the noise section. Which has a whole lot of kick transients and interesting noise tones.

It's a great synth and I'm sure there is more to come from Steve Duda.

I think this in combination with Massive and Dune 2 is gonna be all I need for a while.            E-KLIPSE Trance Productions

Does anybody experience DAW crashes with serum?
My cubase crashes when I try to add an instrument track with serum in a full project... Rather annoying.           soundcloud.com/supergroover

Well yeah from my side i was tried it yesterday and i must say i was impressed with the filters and the huge amount of possibilities to make extremely sounds.

I'm thinking seriously to buy it in next month. This will be my first vst inst after 2 years of my minimum setup. I was working only with 4-5 vst instruments all these years and i was more than happy, so an extra weapon will be good.           ...into the wild....

I really dig it. It is so easy to make risers, quickers, weird effects and what not. Have not made any serieus leads or basses with it. But I don't see what that should not be possible.

The bug seemed more to have to do with an overloaded project than serum.           soundcloud.com/supergroover
