those private corporations are the closest thing we have to public transportation. You're better off hitching a ride. gas money split amongst friends is cheaper than a busride. as far as amtrak goes you're better off flying |

Jay is a electronic music producer from the south(wild) Black Forest in Germany. Together with his friend Ralph (Braincell/Solarspectrum), he founded the psychedelic trance project Rastaliens over 10 years ago... Over the years of playing in clubs and festivals worldwide, Rastaliens became well known by many people for psytrance with a funny unique style. Southwild is the new project from Jay which could be described as a kind of funky groovy psy, but generally, you will not be able to put it in a "style" box. Music to have fun with, and hopefully something funny for YOUR ears!!!

To simply say how excited I am for this would be an understatement!
Not only is this my first time to Gaian-Mind, but also only my second time performing out of state! Wow..what an honor! I'm thrilled to re-connect with friends from across the states as well as create new connections, and humbled to have the opportunity to share the stage with such vibrant artists from abroad and regionally!

Public Transportation to Ramblewood:
The closest Amtrak station is in Aberdeen, MD. There are multiple trains that run along the North East Corridor (North East Regional service) and stop in Aberdeen (station code: ABE). The station in Aberdeen is approximately 10 miles from Camp Ramblewood.
Amtrak shows roundtrip train fare between New York Penn Station and Aberdeen at $44 each way, $88 round trip.

POW WOW DRUM by VERNON FOSTER. Vernon Foster, Wakia Un Manee (Thunder He Walks With), presents a handmade Pow Wow Drum to the New York City Community, Parashakti and the Liberation Drummers. A Pow Wow Drum carries the heartbeat of Mother Earth. The drum is often thought to help bring the physical and mental side of a person back in touch with his or her spiritual or heart side. As with many things in the Native American culture, the drum is used to bring balance and rejuvenation to a person through their participation in dancing, singing and listening to the heartbeat. As the receiver and carriers of this drum, the NYC tribe is bringing this drum to be blessed at the Gaian Mind Summer Festival. Its ceremonial use invokes the ancestors and the land. Still bummed that this falls the same weekend as Gemini. I understand the location availability was your priority but it's still unfortunate. I was so totally going to this one this year!! Haha, oh well. Always best to laugh at ourselves when we have too many options instead of sitting around with none.

Ya, its come'in up soon ...
Time seems to be flying by, I am so excited to see the east coast. It will be D and I's 1st time to GMSF also... it will be nice to connect with some new peeps and reconnect with some folks we just saw in Ohio.
Colorado will be represented fully this year, got lots of CO family flying out for this magical weekend.
