ya one thing i gotta say about GMSF is the people will dance till the music stops not die out in the morning hours it might be cool to work it out with them so next year after the sunday morning headliners we see just how far we can push it bringing the dance full circle all day long till dark again and finish monday morning at the latest or untill the people stop dancing. i think it might lead to something really special to be dancing for 36hours straight the longer i was in the stones the better i felt.

thank you to all the sunday morning trance dancers... been waiting to exprience that kind of floor for the longest time.

There is something truly magical and inspiring about a morning dancefloor. It takes the event to a different level then what happens at night. It's nice when you can finally see your surroundings once the sun rises and know that whatever experience you had during the cloak of night, those people were right there experiencing it with you. You can finally turn to your neighbor, make eye contact, smile and bop to the rhythms together.

This was a really fun event! i m still not quite back from it yet... i had so much fun from the second we entered the site to our leaving moment!!
This was more than just a festival, it was a ceremony, and it really showed me that the true spirit of psychedelic trance still lives! Gaianmind rules!!!
I really appreciated the fact there was thought behind the line up. (something that many european festivals dont do....) there was a real sense of flow!
Thank you so much for having us, and taking such good care of us!!!
It was so much fun meeting and partying with all of you!!

til next time,

I couldn't help but notice Aphid Moon drinking Yeungling in a can during his set. And I believe that I even saw a pic in someones album where Gaspard was drinking one as well. I was just curious what the Europeans thought of the America's oldest beer...which those of us from the Pa area have been drinking since elementary school.

Yeungling is defintely some good shit. Tried it for the first time a couple years ago at an outdoor party I spun at just north of Pittsburgh.           http://www.psylicious.com

Yuengling lager and black and tan is the unofficial official beer of the Gaian Mind Festival......
When I lived in Boston there was no Yuengling...it was one of those silly things I looked forward to when I visited new york...           ~gOa ist nicht nur musik sondern auch eine lebenseinstellung~

hehe, thanks lauryn, i was about to post that pic myself

but do remember, although yuengling (if you can spell that right, you probably know how to pronounce "schuykill" as well ) is the official unofficial beer of GMSF, Gaian Mead is the official libation of GMSF

Yeah, I haven't been able to find Yuengling in Oregon (not that we're lacking in good beer here!), so it's something I look forward to whenever I am back in Pennsylvania!

Argh, the thread for GM '07 can't die on a note of how narsty I think Yuengling is! Does anyone know Orla, of Noel & Orla, the wonderful Irish folks? Orla let me walk around with her swanky digicamera on Sunday morning, and I believe to have snapped some good ones. I'm trying to find Orla's email address so that I can bug her to post our pictures.
(Please respond privately. Thanks!)

Also, I just want to reiterate how much of an incredibly magickal time I had at this year GM. I had never been to GM before this year, and even though I'm sure each year's experience is different, I now truly understand what I have been missing out on all this time! On top of everything else, the fact that I lost my friend's hat and it was RETURNED to her!!! This shows me the quality of people who attended this festival was top notch. In other words, YOU GUYS ROCK!

Beautifully said...

I can honestly say I'm Still vibing... WOW!
I received the most amazing spiritual healing of my life... inside as well as out... the love & healing vibe was everywhere you went... thru each & every beautiful smile...

It was pure bliss reconnecting and making new connections within the "Gaian Mind Family"... Everywhere you were you could feel the ground vibrating underneath your feet... 4Q's is truly a spiritual & magical place...

The music was simply stellar! in all 3 areas... chill, drum circle, & main stage...
Thank you to all the artists who played!

I seriously cannot wait to go back!

Many thanx to all of your beautiful faces...
I love you all!
Namaste'

For 100,000 years before history people lived in harmony and love and community. United in the worship of a psychedelic goddess that ruled the planet before the dominators.
