hey gadi ~
If there is enough interest, I'll do the research and try to set it up.
Any suggestions for a departure time?

Is anyone from the DC area going and have space for one more? I know it's early to ask, but I found cheap airfare from Detroit to DC for the week and wanted to visit some friends before attending the festival. Only problem is that if I fly I wont have a car. Can anyone help out?

mandelbrot: I dont think so.I mean you can go to any big city by bus or train but then you need to take a cab to the 4Q.

Yes mandelbrot, there is a way to get there by public transportation from NYC.
And Yes miEtek, it does involve a taxi to 4QF.
The bus fare to Cumberland, MD is fairly reasonable if purchased more than 7 days in advance, and from there you would need to take a taxi, but it too is not outrageously expensive (especially if the taxi is shared). In a shared taxi, I think the cost would be around $100 round trip for travel.
We are currently gathering the information and will shortly post all the details.
I hope this helps everyone trying to get to us from New York! |

Thank you, sharon joy!
Maybe there even might be a possibility of a van or a bus organized? I already know 8 people who want to go but don't have a ride yet (and I guess no one has a capability to rent a vehicle). The problem might be a time though...some people have to work on Friday. And also I hope it wouldn't be like with Goa Gil's bus, when it was cancelled because of lack of response.
Anyway, 100$ for a round trip is not such a big deal IMO. |
