It's chillout music. Really nice listening to after a stressful day at work, or just to relax.
I have their c.d called "Cascade". Very recommended.           Majority is never right!

oh yes these people really are classic.
i think ambient is a better classification than chillout though since ie dead cities is more disturbing than relaxing.
but.. oh my god, papua new guinea is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever (even if it has been remixed to death..)           >>love will tear us apart...<<

I'd recommend you "Dead Cities" Their best album. Li'l bit close to Shpongle but less melodic.
Not very music to listen but when it grows on you...
They are from UK. BTW they have splitted recently so there won't be any new music soon.
Their best tracks: Papua new guinea
My Kingdom, Yage, Vit drowning
Enjoy!           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Space Ninja, I agree, that's by far their best album... i love it from start to end, creeps me out every time! i didnt like LifeForms double cd, maybe a song or two.... but Moscow is good so is Dirty Shadow and Cascade in its million and 1 variations.           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

Someone stole my "Dead Cities" when I was traveling in Australia (one of the 3 CDs I brought with me, I love it that much). Some of the most mind-bending music ever invented. Shame they broke up, they were one of my 5 favorite electronic acts.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

When we talk about disturbing music, a music that takes you relaxed in the beginning of the album and leaving you totally confused we really should mention Richard D James AKA Aphex Twin. His albums and even more singles and e.p's are absolute twisted reflections of his mind. The man is absolutely insane genius. Check out Girl/Boy EP
Richard D. James Album, Come To Daddy
and Window Licker, or on the softer side Selected Ambient Works 85-92. Enlightment is promised.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Also for those who want a Disturbing "chill out" album I recomend Plastikman's "Consumed". a briliant work of electronic minimalism.           Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.

they r for sure a classic in the electronic music genre and if ur talking about their best tracks i think we shouldnt forget "cascade" which come in 6 parts or 5 if i remembers, anyway,in my opinion its a masterpiece
i'm very sorry that they dont do anystuff anymore
I want you to understand that this man at the wheel is my attorney. He's not just some dingbat I found on the strip, man. He's a foreigner. I think he's probably Samoan. But that doesn't matter, though, does it? Are you prejudiced?

They don't?
Stopped making music?

Boris, Plastikman are/is genious...
The way they build their tracks, starting with one or 2 sounds, and then addind a sound every few seconds... genious!!!           Majority is never right!

When you talk about Plastikman and Techno i always think about Underworld, they have this amazing track : "Tin there" it's called and it's starts with very minimal percussion and some bassline and grows into sound monster within 5 minutes with tons of layers, it's just amazing track. It was released in Vinyl and in Sony PS game soundtrack called Wipeout 2097. This track is a must in every jewish home.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me
