Hi people the music produced today is of course of a certain standard but i think that it needs to evolve. I think its time that the music change again like in all times there is a breakthrough and something new comes out. Now here it goes give me your ideas of breakthrough music like example Wild beats, FAT Bass more rythms and more psychedelic melodies maybe more BPM who knows it's all up to you! Have a go...

Boom           Your sound, is your music, is your soul keep them all on the right track!

the psychedelic thing has to go back underground.
then we wonīt need to think about an innovation, cause in the underground variety flourishes automatically.
itīs only the money and the ego thing that makes the music boring (standardization; getting rid of everything too unusual in order not to endanger the sales).
and those who prefer to play (ridiculous) popstars and make money, we just shouldnīt take any notice of them.
this way theyīll soon leave for another scene where they fit better.
(sorry if that sounds fascist. donīt want to offend anyone here, but time has come to defend this wonderful scene against sell out and standardization)

How about more funkyness in the music. Incorporating more jazz or even swing elements in psytrance. I think that's where the future's at. We already have some acts like Haltaya doing it. I think this is the kind of music everyone can wiggle their bottom to           "Just as every skill is strengthened by practice, so is every bad habit made worse by repetition."

evolution is a gradual event and occurs without notice...
if people can actual look back to psy say about 8-10 years back...and now....it definitely has changed a whole lot..and is continuing to do so...
more and more "full On" stuff is being made and as long as it appriciated its fine...

Please god no... please no vocals... There are a few tracks which already have pieces of singing in them, but I think that it's the first step to a more commercial sound and influence... besides, what's psychedelic about singing?

I was speaking to a few friends about musical evolution a little while ago, and one of the conclusions we came to was: The problem isn't that no one is bringing new sounds, the problem is that once that person brings new sounds, everybody will copy/mimic it... and voila, some time later everyone will again be complaining about the lack of diversity and originality in a scene...

To hell with reality! I want to die in music, not in reason or in prose. People don't deserve the restraint we show by not going into delirium in front of them. To hell with them! - Louis-Ferdinand Céline

You are right Nemco, too many producers just copy the sound and make the same thing so it stays the same! But what can we do except go and try create the new sound and try and evolve new pattern! I long for some really new music man everyday need to hear new music! hihihihi it's endless!           Your sound, is your music, is your soul keep them all on the right track!

agree with you two!

but i donīt think itīs the copying of sounds which is to blame for the lack of diversity.
i think itīs the labels which "uniformize" the music.
as soon as there is a sort of hype on a new style of sounds every label sticks to this because they all are (legitimately) afraid of financial problems.
i noticed that creative underground artists, as soon as they release officially on a label (even if the label is really cool), get assimilated and suddenly sound standard... (donīt wanna mention names, but look at your own experience...)
the first one or two tracks of new acts usually are very innovative and promising, but then the process of standardization begins quickly...
one very good exception to all this is x-dream who constantly go on in the creative process and donīt give a fuck of what others say (especially when they released their "irritant" album...
respect jan and marcus!
even though they are much more known thery maintain their creative energy.

...and there is the mastering which brings futher uniformity...

the only key to more diversity is to leave the music industry thing (royalty organisations, ego etc.) and strenghten the underground.
and please, no vocals (but this is my personal taste...)

Yes, i think you are so right, IMO that is why there is so much full on this days, labels saw this style would make money so they stuck to it.

yeah insomniac!
and if you take a look at the people who do this pop fullon crap (there is definitely also very good full on music - the last suria double album for example) you notice that itīs a completely different type of personality/ mentality:
"sunnyboys", egoed-out, materialist, poppers, macho-like assholes etc. - wonīt mention anyone again...
this has nothing to do with freaky babas or normal music enthusiasts...

99% of new full-on is made for e-tards. The next evolution will be based on the way parties go, on the drugs the people eat and the energies that make them dance the most. That's all there is to it.          http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222
