After several meetings with local(Elvas) and environmental authorities, we are proud to present the location of Freedom Festival.
Barragem do Monte da Chaminé-Vila Fernando-Elvas
20 km far from the 2005 edition, this beautiful crystal lake surrounded by olive trees will provide more privacy and respect between our celebration and the environment.
Get ready to discover a new magical place in Portugal.

Now with this location, im sure FREEDOM will the best festival of the season, all the other SONICA,VUUV,OZORA are really dry no water.
its great swim and after go to dance.

I don't want to be rude, but could someone maybe point me to some pictures of the area where you can definitely say, 'wow this place rocks'!? 
Because so far, I'm not too impressed by the rather dull, prairie like nature. |

HOW CAN U SAY THAT!!! All the other festivals offer us dust and dry landscapes, this one a big lake of clear water, and u say u are not impressed!

I didn't see any pictures of the water being clear.
And the Sonica location looks very nice this year, with all the hills and stuff. |

For me this line up is perfect, and PORTUGAL is the best place in EUROPE for FESTIVALS for sure.
