First off hi to all 
I'm moving to Gavle, Sweden from the United States for college to live by some swedish good mates of mine. And i have no clue how the psytrance scene is there but i know that there is quite a big outdoor scene from what i hear, here in New york city area no open air's which is sad, and where i lived last 5 years in portugal it was amazing psytrance scene.
So any friendly info, or even a good chat to get to know some ppl in the Swedish scene would be great!. i'll be moving in september this year to Gavle(god knows how thats gonna be like)... Still trying to master my swedish, which is long from done haha.
Anyways, open air's?, line up's ? politics & psytrance? anything informative on your psyscene would be killer, pm me is you don't feel at ease to post it.

A great tip is to join the community www.badboll.nu , and check the "events" section. the outdoor scene is big in the summer with lots of underground parties. often you have to know "someone who knows someone" to get the directions but sometimes you can mail the arranger, which will give you directions when the party starts. this is to keep "unwanted guests" from there  .
The police doesent like theese kind of parties and we even have a special policegroup called "rave-komissionen" that works with pointing flashligts in peoples eyes at parties. crazy country. but to my experience its better now than some years ago, for example when space tribe and electric universe played here this autumn the arrangers invited the police but they didnt feel it was neccesary to come. good luck |

and unwanted guests are allways there anyway cuz people cant hold the info for the right people so the cops are allways coming anyway to clean the party from underage e-tards n shit..
The underground scene is no more!
But you might like it here anyway

Oh, so police go to psyparties there  they just dance around and whatnot ?  , im jk,how are police towards parties? well aslong as they don;t shut it down.
in which part of the country do they happen most ? is Gavle a good place to be in the middle of it ?
It's just im so used to living in a place with a good scene, as it is a big part of my life and social time.
and thanks for the forum, i'll be sure to sign on it once i get the swedish better  |

hello all dear swedish friends!
i am trying to register myself at this site of yours , badboll.nu , but at the end of my date of birth it is asking me the last 4 numbers i mitt personnummer.
as i am norwegian my personnr will not be registered in sweden , is there any way of getting around this?
i am currently living in london , and cant wait for summer to come so i can travel to your beautiful forests and experience some of these amazing parties of yours!! see you all soon fellow scandinavians, and thanx for any help!  xxx |

I think you can write any four numbers. I donīt think they have a way to check if itīs an actual "personal number", because if I remember correctly many people have "faked" their year of birth

at least you can pretend ahhaha, im still in 3 grade
i have a year and a half to learn fluently untill i study again... so in summer there are lots of parties, thats great to hear.... During winter you guys don't have any indoor, outdoor(tent) parties? |

Well... thereīs an annual party here in Sweden called "Trolltyg"... think itīs the most "famous" one here... ppl all over the country comes there... But I personally donīt go to that party any more cause itīs to commercial for my taste... I preefer the underground parties were it aint so much ppl and often "the right ones" in my eyes...
Tired of all kids that just take anything they can get over and then totally flipps out... we have an bad drug here called "GHB" that some ppl takes.. but nowdays, most of the ppl who arrenges the parties doesnīt allow that shit... so thatīs good! =)
I remember "Trolltyg 4" when an idiot took that shit... passed out... fuck... he could have died... but luckely for him there where alot of ppl taking care of him, watch over him so he could breath etc etc... but those idiots that take that drug doesnīt belong to any of the parties in my opinion... they should stay at home sucking of eachother instead...

I totally agree that Trolltyg is a commercial shitparty with almost same lineup every year.
We people that are addicted to dark psychedelic gets dissapointed every time trolltyg comes with their lineup, and everytime we diss them.

i guess its one of the best organized tranceparties in sweden.
Good sound, good deco, good organization, maybe good music if youre into full-on.
And even if youre not, im sure you will have a great time with a bunch of nice people
