this is sorta like a 2 in 1 question:
the first is, who's your favourite Aussie artist?
For me, I think Benza would have to get the knod @ this point in time, though Nam Shub of Enki would come close.
the second question is:
Does Olli Wisdom count? 
No offence to Olli intended, but wasn't he born a pom? You know how us Aussies feel about poms! ;D

ill answer the 2nd Q first,
Olli plays all over the world always as space tribe ,
which is australias first "famous" trance export,with the crazy clothes,& lots of releases.
he lives in byron, & always has AUS (australia) behind his name on flyers,i would say yes!
as for my favorite aussie artist,
id get in trouble if i named just one,so here is a list of australian producers whos music carves up the dance floor here

benza
scatterbrain

i.o.s
alvermen
leggohead
the far side
space tribe

(apologies to the MANY ive forgotten)
ive tested tracks from all of these artist,and makes me realise how lucky we are here in oz.

I agree with Oz, Olli is definately an Aussie.
Best Aussie artist in my opinion:

Fractal Glider
Dark Nebula
Benza - his Mr. Wolf track is absolutely sensational. |

Well my favourite artist is Sun Control Species...look out! Also another guy called "namhaj" from sydney is making nice minimal tunes. |

i'll go with dark nebula (mmmm, generator x! sick tune ,sick title!)
i've only heard a bit of benza, but i like what i've heard so far. (where's that album? gimme gimme  )
and have to give kudos to fractal for his live set in adelaide (eclipse launch party), definitely the highlight of my night.
