Thats true Wako.

Raja is originally from Australia so i guess he does qualify.

Not sure if he classifies himself as an Aussie or a brit though.

We'll claim anyone down here though....           Have a good time.... All the time!

i don't really like any trance made in australia, except for the little i have heard from sensient. too fluffy and silly and fast.

but when it comes to deep and dark progressive house, australia, especially melbourne, has unbelievable talent, in my mind the best in the world.

Gab Olivier has to top the list, followed by a host of his crew such as Phil K, Ivan Gough, Luke Chable, Digby, and basically every Zero Tolerance project (Digital Mind Control, Digby + Olivier, Deep Funk Project, etc...). These guys are making the coolest sounds in the world right now. If you don't know Zero Tolerance, check out their No Nonsense compilation for a taste.

Agree with you there Russ, the Zero Tolerance label is and has been putting out fantastic tracks, most trance people here in Oz wouldn't really listed to their music unfortunately though.

Nick Taylor takes the honours for me these days.

Keep your eyes on FREq, he is producing quality tunes.

Oz has lots of good artists and the good thing is that the aussy crowd is open minded so artist can make their art and ppl understand it.
(it took me a while to get used to the idea that on 10 am they play break beat some times).
so oz produced lots of good and refreshing sounds and i think nick taylor should get a novel for life project....
