Besides 'popularity' (which as stated above doesnt really exist yet), my favorites:

Aeon
they happen to be friends of mine, so perhaps i'm partial, but they make damn good music, and I really do think that the SF bay area has the greatest concentration of talented producers in the nation (yes i know dean zyg is in philly....he's holding it down for the east coast)

I hear that...heard a 170 bpm track last weekend by Horror Place....sooooo twisty and psychadelic and it ended with Bob Marley!!! GO figure...no hardcore straight up trancedelic heaven
they're talking about actual psychedelic trance... 148 is the starting point...
