anything more than 145 bpm is too fast and stupid..
it makes the music less trancy, less bassy, less creative and less orginized.
and with alot more noise !!!

@Spindrift: Words of wisdom... and i fully agree with that the kind of drug that the person is on, in general, has a lot to do with the "speed of music" (bpm) they enjoy.
I unfortunaly don´t know any of your work, but I got curious about it so if you could pm me and tell where I could get some of your tracks (V.As, realesed album)....
@ Aldus B: Nicely put, althoug I still think that the trance/spiritual experience is better in a 130-140bpm range.... abouve that imho it has to be really, really "richly" produced...
cheers           "open your mind....you might just see that there isn't anything to be seen"

@watter
Nice, I was expecting to be flamed because I admitted to be somewhat of a crowd pleaser, but really who wants to DJ to get people dissapointed?
I try to stick to amy own style, but BPM is very important and is harder to change fashions in than the content.

About my music:
I have plenty of fresh tracks and one VA that you can listen to on www.resonantearth.com
Or you can search on www.psydb.net or www.discogs.com and you find some older VA's and projects.

I'd hate to see for psytrance to get a lot faster than it already is... for me the ceiling is 150 bpm, and absolutely no faster...           To hell with reality! I want to die in music, not in reason or in prose. People don't deserve the restraint we show by not going into delirium in front of them. To hell with them! - Louis-Ferdinand Céline

It depends alot but generally stuff i listen to is between 125-150! Over 150 is in most cases a bit to much for me!
