It's hard to be "sachit balata" even without one drop of alcohol during the whole party - but apparently it's possible 
After I nagged my friends to arrive early cause I wanted to hear Zirkin's set, we arrived there at around 2:30.
We found a nice place with around 200 people already digging to Zirkin's dark tunes. Ok, I know I'm not objective at all here, but his set was an excellent one! Streaming, dark, totally psy - just the way I like it.
At around 4 Johannes (I hope I spelled the name right) went up and started giving a beautiful set, almost progressive, little by little moving to faster tunes. You could hear it's an artist with many years of experience that was playing. Even I digged...lol
Oren and Eyal and Dotan were suppose to get on the stand, but suddenly for some reason I'm unaware of, this anonymous guy started playing some very commercial tunes. I don't know who this guy was, neither did Eyal and Dotan. His set was usual, nothing too exciting, typical full on set. At this point we decided to leave cause we were dead tired.
We left at around 7, totally wasted.
Crowd was good, around 400. Not too many poeple came and it's too bad cause it was a beautiful party, with good crowd, good music and great deco!
Hoping for some more collaborations like this?

yes indeed a fun party..we arrive there i think whan zirkin was playing cose the music was just perfect for a night .logic bomb played a nice set but i couldn't dance to his music i just seat and enjoyd listen to a good psychedelic tunes.i dont realy know who playd after him but i dig till the end.the crowd was mixed but a lot of nice pepole dig like crazy.

Eyal & Dotan and me had to postpone our set, because we had to deal with some unexpected problems at the entrance, such as baloon guys that wanted to come into the party and policemen that didn't like that
we didn't let the baloons inside !!!
and the police left without disturbing us !
and peace came to our party !!!
The dj that replaced us from 06:00 to 07:00 was DJ Space Camel, a briliant full on dj that i respect a lot, and a lot more after the 1 hour set he gave that morning and sent the danceloor high in the air.
anyhow i didn't think you would like his set anyhow, cause i know you don't like this style of trance, but on this janer he is definitly one of the best, and i think he is going to be more famus very soon.
anyhow, at 07:00 Eyal went up to the dj set, and after him played Benny (Dogam) and at around 09:20 i went up myself so the line up has played completely as planned.
I was gratfull to the djs and artist that played for us, we got from them 120% , all of them were good and played exactly their part in the party.
Kanibal Active 24:00-02:00 from minimal to progressive tunes, amazing!
Shahar Zirkin 02:00-04:00 Gruvy prog to psy trance, he thrilled me !!!
Jonas (Logic Bomb, Hux Flux) 04:00-06:00 great psytrance set, i can only agree with whar was written here before.
Space Camel 06:00-07:00 - 1 hour of unreleased new full on tracks, very good mixing and editing, bom!
Eyal 07:00-08:00 I know i am not supposed to write about Eyal cause he is my partner and I am not objective, but he was real good!
Benny (DOGMA/DIABLO) 08:00-09:20 a dj set by an artist which also a good dj, he mixed his own new unreleased stuff wich were very strong with other V/A music, excelent and diffrent full-on set.
i ment to write a line and look what came up...

I forgot to write that the set eas amazing & there was a killer sound. the atmosphere was great & the place looked great in the morning.
good job Eyal&Dotan&Oren Coma it was very fun weekend for me.

i was a little disapointed from this party...
the crown wasnt what i had expected... ( a lot of arsim and big BALONIADA outside)
the enviourment was a little "cold" in there... (not like other parties of eyal and dotan)
i ran away from there in about 6 am... i went to a near beach and took a little swim to end this party in a better filling!
too much money for the entrance wite no particular reason! |

nice party for sure... this location is well known for it's many "faces", though it wasn't that bad inside... in fact, there were a lot of good ppl and many babes inside digging and having fun.
Shahar Zirkin was spinning when I got there around 3:00 O'clock. very good night time set. it was the first time I heard him play, and it was nice to listen to the right kind of music for that hour, which is not the case in many other parties Iv 'e been to.
at 4:00 Jonas took over. his set was nice, though I personally expected more of his own tunes (the older ones...) to be played, so I was a bit disappointed when he started playing all these Israeli tunes we all know so well... anyway he did a good job and kept the party rocking !!! could have been nice to see him play live.
after him this dude (Space Camel?) came up and played a real commercial full on set for an hour or so. not my cup of tea, but he did a good job I must say...
Eyal was next, and his set was also good and very melodic, again not my style but was good for that cloudy morning... keep it up baba !!
we left right after his set. all in all, it was a fun way to spend my Friday evening... was great meeting some friends (Candy, Eyal, Dotan, Oren and all the rest...). keep it up !!

been really nice to see so many friends there. good crowed of 500 people very colourfull. i am happy my friends dragged me there so early. we got there at 20:00 and build up our tent. i didn't like the chill set till 22:00 it was very wierd but later it got better, anyhow the kineret did it for me as well as the lovely DECO.
shahar zirkin gave nice night set, psychedelic.
logic bomb was fuxing great, it was worth the drive just to listen to his set.
i heard a lot of sounds i know from their last album , but i didnt recognize anything except i think the last track of his set , but it was difrent rmx i think.
thank you guys for bringing this guy!
space camel ? first time i hear him, he was very good.

Unreleased music by logic bomb!
Morning was the best with the beautiful kineret background!
very nice pepole ( about 600 smiling one ) ...

first of all the anonymous d.j is not so anonymous!!! d.j space camel played in afew partys in israel .he have the best music (you can ask danny-k).when he played the party started.he gave marvelous d.j set!!as allways the party was good very good the place,the people the atmosphere was perfect.keep the faith oren coma and see u soon. |

Mmm... sorry to disapoint you, but the name you gave as a reference is not one of my favorite djs, so actually instead of trying to stand up for this guy, you just gave me another reason to understand why I didn't like his music.
Oren and the others, I have the right to express my opinion (yes, it's only my opinion). I'm tired of being politically correct and I am entitled to express what I really think of the music being played by djs.

Ofcourse you have the right to express your real thoughts about the mysic and the dj's.
actually it is obviouse that there are a lot of people with a lot of tastes... i am sure there are more people that doesn't like full-on, and will prefer in the morning to listen to some more crule tracks and less fluffy...
there a lot of people that even enjoy listening to azax syndrom in the morning.
and that's nice that we are not the same , otherwise it would have been boring we would all agree about everything all the time...
i think you just have to judg each dj/artist according to his category, you can't compare progressive dj to full on dj, and ask why doesn't he play more bombs and that he is a shity dj if he doesn't, cause he play prog and that's the whole point...
and the oposite for the full on dj...
anyhow it was really nice to see you at the party, and it is always a pleasure to read your opinion. by the way thanks for the c.d's!!!

That's just it Oren... I'm not comparing it to progressive djs or full on djs.
I think a dj needs to give an interesting set. There are full on djs that can give amazing sets and same for progressive ones. But when you get a set that ressembles to 1000 other sets, then it's boring - again IMO. Nothing special. But I guess most ppl are satisfied with this.
P.S: These days I'm not listening neither to full on or to progressive, so I'm really not talking this way because "I don't like full on".

Well said RaverGirl, the most important thing is to hear somthing that thrills you, and not the same tracks you have heard 1000 times before (maybe 1-2 as a nostalgic can be nice).
It is a bit funny cause Space cammel played almost 100% of unreleased tracks that I don't think people heard before...
he opened with a new rmx to Delta by X-NOISE, this track has been played maybe 2 times since it came out of the studio of those guys.
he played a new Talamasca that i think i never heard before , and so on.
but maybe for you all this style sounds the same, and it is reasnoble. again i can understand the point of view of non full set, but as far as i know full on, this set was one of the best in the janer, he succeeded to surprise me anyhow.
the cd's are nice, still haven't finished checking all of them. |
